borgota-pictures-046Those who are familiar with the situation with the Atlantic City-based casinos are well aware of the fact that four of them have already filed for bankruptcy and a fifth one is supposed to close within less than two weeks.

Despite the pessimistic situation, it seems like the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa is not affected by the issues and its managers have recently announced that the property will be thoroughly renovated and the procedures were estimated to cost nearly $13 million.

The sum will be used for refurbishment of the casino floor, spa area, buffet and suites. The renovation procedures have already been in progress for two days.

Tom Ballance, the President of the Borgata, commented that the renovation plays an important role in making Borgata the most appealing casino resort on the East Coast.

He also added that managers’ top priority will be providing all guests with extraordinary gambling and dining experience as well as luxurious hotel accommodation.

The building where the casino is located at, is eleven years old but that was definitely not intended to be the most thorough renovation process it has undergone during the years.

In 2012 a more significant refurbishment was performed and it was estimated to cost $50 million. Although the upcoming upgrades are not going to be so big, the intentions of Borgata managers were considered to be a positive sign, bearing in mind the current complicated situation on the New Jersey’s gambling market.

Borgata officials are ready with the plan for renovation. The buffet is going to be completely redesigned. The Spa Toccare area will be touched up as well as the fitness center. Brand new treadmills, cross-training ellipticals, spin bicycles will be added. The Spa Toccare will have its new massage tables, lighting, linens and cabinets.

As far as the remodeling of the suites is concerned, the sum set aside for that purpose is $6 million. Approximately 40 suites, including the two Residence ones, will be entirely refurbished. The same thing applies to the lobby and front desk – they will be completely redesigned as well.

Keeping the gripping atmosphere of the casino floor is essential for Borgata’s popularity so it will be renovated as well. According to the initial plan, designers are going to transform the casino area and make it look more Italian.

The redesign will include new carpets and light fixtures. Ceiling drapery and wall decorations will contribute a stylish look of the place too. The entire renovation of the casino area was estimated to cost $4 million.

Apart from being committed to providing its guests and players with high quality products and services, Borgata managers are also dedicated to ensure the comfort of their employees. They have also included a renovation of back of the house areas in their refurbishment plan.
