This year’s Canadian Gaming Summit is to take place on June 16-18 at Caesars Windsor Hotel and Casino in Ontario, Canada. Advertised as Canada’s premier annual gaming conference and exhibition, the event is organized by the Canadian Gaming Association together with MediaEdge Communications.
Canadian gaming regulators, such as the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, as well as popular gaming companies, such as Amaya, IGT, and Aristocrat Gaming are among the main sponsors of the three-day event.
The Summit aims at providing professionals from all segments of the gaming industry with the opportunity to interact with each other, showcase their services and products, find potential new customers and partners, etc. According to the latest information, more than 1,500 industry suppliers and professionals are expected to attend the three-day event. Furthermore, 95% of the attendees of last year’s Summit stated that they would definitely visit this year’s event as well.
The Canadian Gaming Summit is to feature a number of sessions, at which industry experts are to discuss important matters including problem gambling and the promotion of responsible gambling, the future of popular segments such as online and mobile gaming, etc. During those panels, attendees will also be given the opportunity to both present and acquaint themselves with strategies that would help them attract more customers. Charitable gaming, food & beverage, human resources, and legal matters will also be among the topics dwelt upon at the conference.
Apart from the various sessions, the Canadian Gaming Summit will also feature an exhibition floor. A number of internationally recognized companies, such as Aristocrat Gaming, GTECH, Scientific Games, Synectics, etc., will showcase their newest products and services.
In fact, Synectics, known to be an integrated surveillance solution provider, is to mark its tenth anniversary since it entered the Canadian gambling market. Back in 2005, the company debuted its products on the territory of Canada during the annual Gaming Summit. This year, company representatives are expected to discuss with gambling operators from across the country important topics such as system reliability, flexibility, and resiliency. On June 18, the 18th annual Canadian Gaming Industry Awards are to take place as part of the Canadian Gaming Summit. This year, the event aims at recognizing the activity of the local charity Problem Gambling Services, aside from celebrating the achievements of industry leaders. Problem Gambling Services has been providing treatment of people who show symptoms of problem gambling for more than 20 years now.
