Event #7 on the 2015/16 WSOP Circuit Choctaw Durant schedule has been completed a few hours ago with poker player Mark Fink besting its field to collect $19,328 and his third career gold ring. Fink is no stranger to the WSOP Circuit. The player from Sioux Falls, South Dakota has cashed in 38 Circuit events so far, collecting more than $180,000 in those.

The two-day $365 No-Limit Hold’em attracted a field of 163 entries and a prize pool of $78,900 was generated. The top 27 players received a share of the money, with payouts starting from $638. Day 1 of the event was concluded on January 11 with 29 survivors who returned for Day 2 to play down to a champion.

The official nine-handed final table was set with four-time gold ring winner Cody Pack as the chip leader. The player had a total of 725,000 in chips. Fink was second in chips with 407,000 at the beginning of nine-handed action.

By the end of Level 23, there were only four players left at the table and the soon-to-be champion was the short stack. However, he managed to catch up and eventually faced Brian McDaniel heads-up. It was clearly Fink’s night and the player emerged victorious over his opponent to collect his third gold piece. McDaniel, who has previously won one gold ring, collected a consolation prize of $11,944 for his runner-up finish.

Pack took 3rd place in the $365 No-Limit Hold’em event to scoop $8,629 of the entire prize pool. Jeb Hutton finished 4th for a payout of $6,351. Paul Sokoloff took home the amount of $4,758 for finishing 5th in the tournament.
