Gambling operator Hard Rock International revealed on Wednesday more information about its latest endeavor – Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo, a hotel and casino complex to be located in the capital of the Dominican Republic. The major gambling company will be working together with hospitality business All Inclusive Collection on the operation of the venue.
Slated to open doors in late 2017, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo would feature 400 hotel rooms and suites, a modern casino, and a number of food and beverage, entertainment, and other exciting options.
The casino would occupy 23,000 square feet. It would have two bars, including Center Bar, known to be among Hard Rock International’s signature amenities. As for the gambling options offered at the venue, those would include a sportsbook, 400 slot machines, high-limit slots, 40 table games, and private gaming space for select customers.
In addition, the new hotel and casino complex would feature meeting space spreading over 33,000 square feet. A Rock Royalty Level floor as well as a Rock Star Suite would also be among the amenities included in the new resort’s offering. Visitors would even be welcomed at brand exclusive facilities such as Rock Shop, where Hard Rock merchandize can be purchased, Rock Spa’s Rhythm & Motion treatments, and many more.
Nelson Parker, Vice President of Casino Development at Hard Rock International, said that their decision to open a full-service hotel and a second casino in the region is indicative of the Dominican Republic’s “remarkable strength in tourism.”
Frank Maduro, Vice President of Marketing at All Inclusive Collection, commented that they are really happy to continue working together with Hard Rock International, following the success of their joint venture in Punta Cana and to introduce the brand in Santo Domingo. Mr. Maduro further noted that given the city’s vibrant atmosphere, together with the numerous amenities that are to be offered at the complex, both Hard Rock International and All Inclusive Collection would provide visitors with “unforgettable and fun experience.”
As mentioned above, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo is to be launched towards the end of 2017 and will be located in the heart of the capital city. The complex is expected to attract a greater number of international visitors to the Dominican Republic. In 2014, the country welcomed 19% of all 26.3 million people who traveled to the Caribbean region.
