2016 Deepstack Extravaganza I,
The Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada will host this rather longish and quite exciting poker festival. It will run from January 25 to March 2. Players will have the opportunity to enter 61 events featuring some of poker’s most popular formats. And here it is really important to mention that they all will offer an overall guaranteed prize pool of $2.9 million. Buy-ins start from $80.
The $1,600 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event is the highlight of the festival. It is scheduled to kick off on February 18 and will feature six days of play. Entries will have the unique chance to win a share of the $750,000 guaranteed prize pool.
2016 WPTDeepStacks Malta
WPTDeepStacks will next go to Dragonara Casino in St. Julian’s, Malta. The tournament will feature four No-Limit Hold’em events and a Pot-Limit Omaha one and will take place from January 27 to February 1. The four-day €550 Main Event is slated to begin on January 29. It will feature three starting flights and will be a single re-entry one.
2016 PHamous Weekend
Being a popular poker destination, Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas certainly knows how to organize exciting tournaments. And it will host one such tournament from January 28-31. It will feature 9 different events with buy-ins of between $130 and $600 for the four-day Main Event starting January 28. It will distribute a guaranteed prize pool of $250,000.
2016 TonyBet Winter Festival
Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Quebec will host this tournament from January 29 to February 10. Its schedule includes 12 No-Limit Hold’em events and a Pot-Limit Omaha one. Buy-ins vary from C$110 to C$1,100 for the Main Event. It will begin on February 5 and will feature a guaranteed prize pool of C$500,000.
2016 Staycation Weekend Tournament
The weekend-long tournament will be held at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona and will run from January 29-31. Its schedule will feature 3 one-day No-Limit Hold’em events with buy-ins of between $200 and $300.
