Events & Reports

The London Affiliate Conference 2016 is officially history. Although delegates will have the chance to meet for a final goodbye drink at the special Sunday Intertops Session, there will be no more conferences and exhibitions for this year’s edition of the world’s largest iGaming affiliate event.

As usual, LAC’s Day 2 was much more relaxed, although there was still quite a lot of activity on the two floors of Olympia National, London, which was once again host to the major event. The venue’s Groundfloor featured booths and stands of some of the world’s top gambling companies. Representatives for those showcased their latest products and services and were looking for new affiliate partners to popularize their offering and thus attract new players to their websites.

There were also a number of giveaways, with attendees being given the chance to win exclusive prizes such as drones, iWatches, and even a trip to an exotic destination. And quite expectedly, exhibitors have done their best to turn their booths and stands into cozy spaces where delegates could not only make their new deals and have business conversations with industry peers but also have a drink and just relax for a second.

A number of conferences also took place throughout the day in the three specially designated rooms. Conference Room 1 was the one dedicated to the iGaming affiliate industry as well as the online gambling industry as a whole. Some of the topics discussed on LAC’s second day were how a website should be re-platformed for mobile, how a blog can get more traffic, link building and what should and should not be done when building links, etc. All speakers at the panels had years of experience in their fields and were more than keen to share it with attendees.

A special panel aimed at celebrating the 10th anniversary of the conference was held with gambling executives who have been in the industry over the past decade. They commented on how the business has changed for the past ten years and exchanged opinions on what the future holds for the online gambling industry.

This year, too, the LAC reached record attendance. Over the two full days of conferencing and exhibitioning, there were more than 4,000 delegates from all corners of the world. And they were once again given the chance to network, socialize, reunite with peers and existing partners, and create new partnerships.

With the London Affiliate Conference 2016 officially being completed, Casino News Daily’s coverage of the event is now over. However, we have a special surprise for all our readers. During the event, we have managed to talk to some of the delegates about their experience at the LAC. Interviews and other related materials are to be be posted in the days to come.
