Provider of online and mobile casino games and related content for the gambling industry Yggdrasil Gaming Ltd. published information about the company’s financial performance over the fourth quarter of 2015 as well as the year as a whole. Quarterly revenue totaled SEK10.4 million, up the impressive 696% as compared to the figure posted for the same period a year ago.
Revenue from mobile gaming accounted for 41.75% of the overall gross game win generated over the reviewed three months. Quarterly EBITDA amounted to SEK4.9 million. In comparison, a negative of SEK1.4 million was reported for the fourth quarter of 2014.
During the quarter ended December 31, 2015, Yggdrasil Gaming was granted UK licenses by the UK Gambling Commission. In addition, the company signed three UK agreements with gambling operators LeoVegas, Unibet, and Mr Green. Over the period, its products went live with a total of six new gambling brands, with those being Kaboo, Monte Carlo Casino, Expekt, Betclic, Sunmaker, and Casino Heroes.
Another highlight event that took place in the fourth quarter of 2015 was the launch of Yggdrasil Gaming’s BOOST set of promotional tools, with an In-game leaderboard tournament and raffle being among those. Seven contracts for Joker Millions were also penned over the period. Four of the company’s new partners have already gone live with the product and the other three are to go live once they receive the necessary regulatory approvals.
Full-year revenue amounted to SEK20.1 million, up 357% year-on-year. A significant improvement was also registered in the company’s annual EBITDA. It totaled SEK5.2 million in 2015 compared to a negative of SEK4.6 million reported for 2014.
Last year, the company launched its HTML5 framework – iSENSE 2.0, as well as its first progressive jackpot – Joker Millions. Another important launch to occur in 2015 was the introduction of Infinite API for Gamification, aimed at helping B2B customers retain players, as well as the industry’s first Super Free Spins and In-game leaderboard tournament and raffle concepts.
