Paddy Power Betfair Opts for SafeCharge’s Personalised Cashier

Recently merged gambling operator Paddy Power Betfair announced today that it has chosen payment options provider SafeCharge to deliver its technology-based Personalised Cashier solution for alternative payment method deposits as well as withdrawals.

Under the terms of the two companies’ agreement, SafeCharge will provide its technology in order to facilitate Paddy Power Betfair gambling customers from all over the world in their “checkout journey.” Generally speaking, the said solution provides options for both deposits and withdrawals, as well as a variety of alternative payment methods and thus, covers all existing aspects of what is known as the payment funnel.

The technology-based product offers everything necessary to help players complete their deposits quickly and effortlessly no matter whether they are home or anywhere else. The solution has also been developed so as to provide fully transparent management of all withdrawal requests.

Paddy Power Betfair Head of Payments Stephen Moffatt explained that they have selected SafeCharge among other providers of payment solutions as the company has long and proven experience in the online gambling industry and offers superior technology. He further added that the company provided the gambling operator with simple and quick integration, a front-end solution, and an option for the addition of alternative payment methods.

Commenting on SafeCharge being chosen by Paddy Power Betfair, David Avgi, CEO of the payment method provider, said that they are extremely proud with that agreement. Mr. Avgi also pointed out that his company aims at facilitating the globalization and diversification of the gambling operator’s online payment options.

Irish gambling operator Paddy Power completed its merger with rival Betfair early in February. The combined entity – Paddy Power Betfair – is based in Dublin and is valued at £6 billion. The combined business is to generate £1.1 billion in full-year revenue and up to £50 million in pre-tax cost savings.
