Yggdrasil Launches Full Product Suite in UK

Yggdrasil Gaming, one of Cherry subsidiaries, is now available on the UK gambling market. The company obtained a license from the UK Gambling Commission in December and announced that it has just launched its full product suite.

For the time being, its iSENSE 2.0 platform as well as the games it has developed, are available through LeoVegas, Vera&John, Mr Green, ComeOn, Unibet, Betsson. Yggdrasil is expected to expand its partners’ network and attract other notable clients such as bet365.

Some of the most popular games, developed by Yggdrasil include Vikings Go Wild, Jokerizer, Joker Millions, Nirvana and they are expected to boost the traffic to their partners’ websites. The slots are backed up by the so-called BOOST, intended to increase players’ engagement and retention.

Fredrik Elmqvist, Yggdrasil’s CEO, commented on company’s accomplishment and said that the UK is a key market for the company and they were excited to confirm the full launch of their products. He did not miss to mention that the company successfully consolidates its positions on every market it enters and added he was confident that the same will happen on the competitive UK market.

Mr. Elmqvist also added that they were happy with the “encouraging start” given the fact Yggdrasil had acquired a UK gambling license mere months ago and already went live with some of its partners.

Company’s CEO has repeatedly stated that the iSENSE 2.0 framework enabled Yggdrasil to develop games that enhance players’ gambling experience, feature an attractive design and help Yggdrasil partners attract more customers. He has also previously shared that Yggdrasil was proud to work in collaboration with six of the most reputable and prominent operators in the UK.

Those who keep themselves informed about Yggdrasil’s ventures know that the year 2015 was quite a successful one. The company signed contracts with key partners such as Unibet, LeoVegas, Mr Green. As for Betsson, it is yet to accept UK customers despite being awarded a license almost a year ago.

In addition, Yggdrasil reported an impressive financial performance during 2015. According to released reports, company’s revenue jumped 357% to reach SEK 20.1 million or £1.73 million. The turnover for the entire 2015 has also seen a record increase of 544% to SEK 3.89 billion or £330 million.

Yggdrasil has also scooped the iGaming Software Supplier of the Year award at the 2016 International Gaming Awards amid the Software Rising Star Award at the 2015 EGR B2B Awards.
