Swedish developer and supplier of content for the online gambling industry NetEnt announced today that a selection of its online casino games has gone live and is now available to customers of the TropicanaCasino brand, the online gaming division of Atlantic City’s Tropicana Casino.
The announcement comes after a successful integration process of NetEnt’s gaming content with the casino’s existing offering. This has become possible after the Swedish company received a transactional waiver from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. The said transactional waiver makes it possible for NetEnt to launch a selection of its online casino games with a particular New Jersey-based operator while its application for a full license is still being reviewed by the state gambling regulator.
The Swedish supplier has been able to launch its products with the TropicanaCasino online brand after last November, it signed an agreement with fellow gaming developer and operator Gamesys US. Securing the deal with the latter, NetEnt now has partnered with all major online gambling operators in the New Jersey market.
Gamesys US has been among the leaders in the said market for quite some time now. It currently works with Tropicana Atlantic City Casino & Resort and operates the TropicanaCasino and VirginCasino online gaming brands.
Commenting on their partnership, NetEnt Americas Managing Director Björn Krantz said last November that their efforts to provide gambling customers with the ultimate gaming experience will certainly match Gamesys’ determination to secure a sustainable long-term growth in the online gaming market.
Of their agreement with NetEnt, Leon Earp, General Manager of Gamesys US, said that being a provider of market leading gaming content, NetEnt’s offering would certainly complement their New Jersey online gaming brands in the best possible way.
Luisa Woods, Vice President Online and Internet Marketing of Tropicana Entertainment, commented in November that they were firm in their determination to offer their gambling customers the best possible experience and that with the NetEnt games players would, indeed, be offered premium and innovative content.
Most recently, content by the major Swedish developer and supplier also went live with PokerStars in New Jersey, after the world’s biggest card room was allowed to return to the US, even though its presence there would be limited only within the said state’s border, or at least for now.
