Poker pro Phil Hellmuth will emcee the fifth annual Tiger’s Poker Night, a charity poker tournament presented by the World Poker Tour and hosted by golf legend Tiger Woods. The event is scheduled for April 29 and will once again take place at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Organizers have promised both participants and guests a night full of philanthropy and fun.

Entries in the Tiger’s Poker Night tournament will have the chance to face some of the world’s best poker players as well as celebrity guests who are known for their passion for the game. WPT’s very own Lynn Gilmartin and Vince Van Patten will also take part in the special charity event.

As mentioned above, the event is set to take place on Friday, April 29. It was announced that it will begin at about 7:15 pm PST. Here it is also important to note that entries will have to pay a buy-in fee of $11,000 in order to enter it.

Participants will have the chance to win a number of exciting prizes, among which a golf round with Woods himself, pro-am spots in PGA Tour events, as well as various unique items.

All proceeds from the poker tournament will go to Tiger Woods Foundation. The non-profit organization has announced that the money will be used for the purchase of equipment for underseved students with “the ability to exceed any and all expectations.”

The inaugural WPT Tournament of Champions winner – Farid Yachou, will also be among the poker players to be seen at the tables of this year’s Tiger’s Poker Night. A few days ago, the Dutch player topped the field of the major poker event to collect the amount of $381,600 and a number of other exciting prizes, among which a seat into Woods’ special poker tournament.

Tiger’s Poker Night will actually kick off the 18th annual Tiger Jam. And fourteen-time WSOP gold bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth will once again return at MGM Grand in Las Vegas to make sure that guests and tournament entries alike will be well-entertained.

Since its establishment two decades ago, the Tiger Woods Foundation has been promoting community-based programs in a bid to help children prosper “no matter what.” As for Tiger Jam, it has been held for 18 years now and has raised more than $17 million for good causes.
