Another week full of thrill is coming for poker and its fans. In the week between May 16-22, there will be several major tournaments to kick off in all four corners of the world, offering exciting opportunities for players. More about the important poker events set to begin over the next seven days could be read below.
2016 Eureka Bucharest
The second stop on the Eureka Poker Tour Season 6’s schedule is to take place on May 16-22 and InterContinental Hotel in Bucharest, Romania will play host to the event. As many as 17 different tournaments will be held as part of the poker festival and the €1,100 Main Event will most definitely be the highlight event on the schedule.
It was announced that all-time money list leader Daniel Negreanu will be among those heading to Bucharest. One of the world’s most popular poker players, in fact, has Romanian origins, as his parents were both from the European country.
The €1,100 Main Event is set to kick off on May 18 and will be a five-day one. It will feature three starting flights, with the third being played in a turbo format, and two more days of play.
2016 APPT Macau
City of Dreams on Macau’s Cotai Strip will once again play host to an APPT festival. The event will take place from May 18-29. Its schedule includes 14 different events, mostly No-Limit Hold’em ones. The five-day HK$25,000 Main Event is slated to start on May 25. Apart from it, there will be several other exciting tournaments worth entering. The HK$5,000 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of HK$1 million is one such event.
partypoker WPT National UK
The WPT National is next heading to the UK. Dusk Till Dawn Nottingham in Nottinghamshire will welcome players willing to join the excitement the WPT National series offer from May 19-23. There will be 8 events to be played at the gambling venue as part of the festival. The partypoker WPT National UK $1,100 Main Event is to begin on May 19. It will feature three starting flights, with the first one being played online. It is also important to note that the event guarantees a prize pool of $1 million.
2016 May Deep Stack Series
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood has always been the host venue for thrilling poker tournaments. Another such tournament is to run from May 19 through May 30. The exciting poker festival will feature 8 events, with some of those offering guaranteed prize pools of up to $300,000.
For instance, the May Deep Stack Series is to kick off with a $350 No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed $150,000 prize pool. The four-day $1,650 Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000 is set for May 26-29.
2016 The Hydra
The Hydra poker tournament will take place from May 20-29 at Stones Gambling Hall in Citrus Heights, California. The $200 No-Limit Hold’em event offers a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000. There will be six starting flights in six separate days as well as two more days of play for the winner to be determined.
