Developer, manufacturer, and supplier of gaming machines and solutions for the international gambling industry IGT PLC announced today that it has created a central Administrative Services organization so as for the company to consolidate, coordinate, and manage global activities in relation to its administrative support.
IGT boasts presence in more than 100 countries around the world and annually procures more than $1 billion from the wide variety of goods and services it offers. The company explained that it has established its new centralized Administrative Services organization in order to make sure that goods and services are properly delivered to customers, to assist the overall business operation, and to collect the improved synergies from the centralization.
A Global Information Security Office will be created within the Administrative Services organization and it will be its main task to coordinate and oversee cyber security and corporate security functions. Other important functions that will be reporting into the newly established IGT organization will be Real Estate and Facilities, Global Procurement, Food Services, Facility Security and Monitoring, etc.
Robert K. Vincent will lead the Administrative Services organization. Mr. Vincent has been appointed as Executive Vice President for Administrative Services and External Relations and will be reporting to Marco Sala, CEO of IGT PLC. He will also keep being in charge of Media Relations, Branding, Global Corporate Communications, and other related functions. In addition, the official will provide the necessary Investor Relations support.
Commenting on the latest announcement, Mr. Sala said that the company has reached a level in its development that requires it to increase coordination and oversight of critical assets’ acquisition and management, including ones related to cyber security. The executive pointed that he is once again turning to a senior executive whom he trusts to be the right person to be in charge of meeting the challenges related to “managing, supplying, and protecting” IGT’s rapidly growing global enterprise.
Mr. Vincent has been with the major developer and distributor of gaming and lottery solutions for the past two decades and has served in numerous administrative, business development, and public affairs roles. Most recently, the official served as Senior Vice President for Human Resources and Public Affairs at the company.
