Marathonbet Rolls Out Quickspin Online Slots

News

Swedish developer and supplier of online slot games Quickspin announced that its suite of gaming titles has gone live with online gambling operator Marathonbet. Casino players are offered access to the games across both desktop and hand-held devices.

Apart from gaming titles that have already established themselves as customer favorites, the content distribution agreement also includes roll-out of new games like Spinions Beach Party, The Wilde Chase, and the soon-to-be launched Gold Lab.

Commenting on the latest announcement, Quickspin CEO Daniel Lindberg said that they are pleased to have their games rolled out with Marathonbet, with the latter being an established sports betting and casino operator. Mr. Lindberg also expressed confidence that their proven promotional tools will most certainly benefit Marathonbet and its gambling customers.

Marathonbet Head of Gaming Christian Melin added that they are really excited to be launching Quickspin games and that players will definitely find these enjoyable. The official further noted that the promotional tools coming with the games are “excellent revenue generators.”

It was announced earlier this year that gambling software giant Playtech would purchase the Swedish gaming studio for a total consideration of €50 million as part of its strategy to expand its reach to more segments within the industry. Founded in 2011, the gaming developer has more than 20 titles in its portfolio and has been supplying these to over 40 B2B clients.

The Swedish company was brought to life by Daniel Lindberg, Joachim Timmermans, and Mats Westerlund, with all three being prominent industry veterans. They are set to remain with the gaming studio for at least three years after the acquisition deal is completed.

Quickspin posted revenue of €6 million for the twelve months ended December 31, 2015. Adjusted EBITDA for the previous calendar year amounted to €2.1 million. The company said that it expected further growth in the years to come.

As for Marathonbet, the gambling operator has expanded its casino offering considerably over the past year. Less than a fortnight ago, the company announced that it has added games by London-headquartered gaming studio Gamevy. Last summer, the Alderney-licensed operator added Live Casino games by Evolution Gaming.
