Gambling operator GVC Holdings announced three key appointments in a bid to boost its regular and live casino products. Rob Fell, Andrew Whitworth, and Oliver Bartlett have become the new members of the company’s team, with all three having considerable experience in the gambling industry.
Rob Fell is joining GVC Holdings from Lottoland where he has held the VP Product role since January 2016. Prior to that, he had served as Head of Mobile Product Development and then Head of Product at Gala Coral. Mr. Fell had also worked at Paddy Power as Product Owner and Operations Manager. At GVC Holdings, he will be taking the Head of Casino Product role and will be in charge of product development activities regarding the operator’s casino platform.
As for Mr. Whitworth, he has previously served as Head of Gaming Strategy for Tatts Group’s UK business Talarius. At GVC Holdings, it will be his responsibility to manage the operator’s internal game development and to communicate with external suppliers of online casino content. To be more precise, Mr. Whitworth is joining the company as its Head of Content.
Formerly Head of VIP and Project Manager at bgo, Mr. Bartlett has been appointed as Head of Live at GVC Holdings. At first, he will have to focus his efforts on boosting the gambling operator’s Live Casino offering across both B2C and B2B.
Commenting on the latest appointments, GVC Holdings Chief Product Officer Liron Snir said that casino and Live Casino verticals are among the key areas they would like to focus their attention on as they want to provide customers with best-in-class offering.
Mr. Snir further noted that Mr. Fell, Mr. Whitworth, and Mr. Bartlett bring skills and experience to the company that will certainly prove to be transformative to its ability to develop and deliver a high quality product and experience to its customers.
Mr. Snir himself joined GVC Holdings earlier this year. With his considerable experience in the industry and spending six years at major gambling provider Playtech as the latter’s Vice President of Product and Strategy, Mr. Snir is believed to be among the most prominent gambling technology and product experts.
It could be said that all the recent key appointments are part of GVC Holdings’ efforts to further boost its product offering after completing the acquisition of bwin.party in February 2016.
