This week’s poker tournaments overview offers a diversity of poker destinations, with City of Dreams Macau and bestbet Jacksonville being only two of those. All of the poker festivals scheduled to kick off in the week between September 26 and October 2 promise everyone interested to take part in them thrilling prize pools, the opportunity to play against fellow players from all around the world, and tons of poker excitement. WPT National Valkenburg Festival of Poker
As part of its rich schedule this season, the WPT National will kick off another thrilling tournament in quite a popular gambling destination in precisely three days from now. The WPT National Valkenburg is the next stop to be featured within the popular poker series.
Holland Casino Valkenburg will be the host venue for the upcoming festival. Players from all around Europe, and probably from different other parts of the world, will be welcomed by the WPT National and the casino itself from September 27 through October 2.
The festival will be kicked off with several satellites and warm-up tournaments. The €2,000 WPT High Roller will be the first actual tournament to take place as part of the Valkenburg Festival of Poker. The €1,100 Main Event is slated to begin on September 29. The tournament will feature two starting flights and two more days of play.
2016 APT Poker Cruise
The Rex Fortune casino cruise boat will play host to the Asian Poker Tour Poker Cruise from September 29-October 2. The four-day festival is set to feature four different events – two single-day ones, a four-day Main Event, and a two-day Monster Stack tournament.
The HK$11,000 Main Event will actually be the opening one, starting September 29.
2016/17 WSOP International Circuit Berlin
The 2016/17 season of the WSOP Circuit will be the largest one to take place in the popular series’ thirteen-year history, with more than 20 US stops and as many as 14 international ones to be featured. Speaking of international stops, the WSOP International Circuit is scheduled to go to Berlin this week. Spielbank Berlin, which last year played host to the WSOP Europe, will now welcome players who want to enter any of the events to be featured as part of the WSOP International Circuit Berlin stop.
The exciting poker festival will be running from September 29 to October 9 and will include as many as 10 different gold ring tournaments with guaranteed prize pools of up to €500,000. The €1,650 Main Event will understandably be the highlight tournament. The event will take place within four days, beginning on October 6 with two starting flights played over two separate days. The tournament features a guaranteed €500,000 prize pool.
However, prior to the Main Event, there will be another tournament to run as part of the WSOP International Circuit Berlin stop that is well deserving to be paid more attention. The €275 Oktoberfest 2.0 with three starting flights and a guaranteed prize pool of €200,000 will be held from October 1-3.
WPT bestbet Bounty Scramble
The bestbet Jacksonville poker room is a favorite poker destination among players from around Florida. According to the WPT’s season 2016/17 schedule, one of the world’s most popular poker series will be hosted by the poker venue from September 30 through October 18 for what would certainly prove to be a really exciting poker festival with numerous opportunities for interested players to boost their bankrolls and to add the prestigious WPT trophy to their collections of achievements.
The $5,000 Main Event will be the festival’s brightest highlight. The tournament will be played over five days. Starting on October 14, it will feature two starting flights to take place within two separate days and three more days of play. The official six-handed table is expected to be played on October 18. As any Main Event on the Main Tour’s schedule, the bestbet Jacksonville final table will, too, be televised.
ACOP Platinum Series XV
Macau’s Cotai Strip has turned into a popular casino and poker destination over the years. This is why, it is not a surprise that some of Asia’s biggest poker series are frequent guests at local casinos, particularly at City of Dream’s poker room.
And it is exactly where the Asia Championship of Poker will next be for its Platinum Series XV festival. The event will draw poker regulars from the region and the rest of the world from October 1 to October 9.
The festival will feature twelve different events, some of which with guaranteed prize pools of up to HK$500,000. The ACOP Platinum Series XV will be kicked off with a HK$3,000 No-Limit Hold’em Superstack, a single-day tournament with a guaranteed HK$100,000 prize pool. The two-day HK$5,500 with a guaranteed prize pool of HK$500,000 will be yet another noteworthy event included in the schedule of the upcoming poker festival.
2016 GUKPT Luton
Luton has been announced as the seventh stop on the current Grosvenor UK Poker Tour season’s schedule. Starting on October 2 and running though October 9 at Grosvenor Casino Luton, the festival will certainly offer a multitude of excitement to everyone entering it. There will be thirteen different events to run as part of 2016 GUKPT’s seventh leg. The £1,100 Main Event with two starting flights and a guaranteed prize pool of £200,000 will kick off on October 6.
