Mr Green has become the latest major iGaming operator to launch a dedicated live casino environment as part of its product offering. Powered by Evolution Gaming, the live casino product has been launched last week for players registered with the major online gaming brand.
Evolution Gaming has established itself as one of the leaders in the provision of this type of services and some of the industry’s big names have become its clients. The Stockholm-headquartered supplier has designed an exclusive live casino environment for its latest partner, one that perfectly imitates the experience provided at the gaming tables in brick-and-mortar casinos.
As recently announced, Mr Green has adopted a new growth strategy in order to make sure that its gambling customers are offered personalized iGaming experience. The live casino launch was presented by the company as an important step towards the implementation of that strategy.
Earlier this year and right before the UEFA Euro 2016’s start, the Malta-licensed online operator added a new product to its offering. Mr Green launched a sportsbook, powered by provider of sports betting solutions Kambi. The roll-out came as an expansion beyond the operator’s main area of interest – namely the online casino market.
Live casino is believed to be one of the fastest growing product verticals within the online gambling industry, with the latter itself expanding at extremely fast pace. According to gambling research firm H2 Gambling Capital, the European live casino market will likely grow 30% in 2016.
Licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority, Mr Green Ltd. is the owner and operator of online casino brand Mr Green. Here it is important to note that Mr Green Ltd., which is based in Malta, should not be mistaken for its Stockholm-headquartered parent company Mr Green & Co.
Aside from the recently launched sportsbook and live casino offering, the Mr Green online casino also offers multiple casino options, both slot and table games, by some of the biggest internationally recognized iGaming providers.
Mr Green reported revenue of SEK211.2 million for the second quarter of the year, up 8.1% year-on-year, with the growth being attributed to a successful launch of the operator’s sportsbook. Revenue from the Nordic region dropped 2.9% year-on-year to SEK85 million. Revenue from the rest of Europe totaled SEK119.6 million, reflecting a 16.7% increase as compared to the figure posted for the same period of the previous year.
