American poker pro Daniel Stern was last week’s biggest online poker winner, according to HighstakesDB. The player won a total of $245,371 in profits in the week between September 26 and October 2. To be more precise, Stern won the above amount within a four-day winning streak at PokerStars’ Pot-Limit Omaha tables.
The player collected more than a half of his overall profit on September 27, when he won $130,573 over two sessions and 142 hands. During the first session, he scored a $86,200 winning, emerging as the winner from a heads-up match with Dutch online pro Ravenswood13 at a $100/$200 Pot-Limit Omaha table. He won the rest of the money from a 36-minute session at a $200/$400 table. On the next two days, Stern collected $49,800 and $54,200. On Friday, September 30, the player collected around $14,800, with the money being won from 13 hands at PokerStars’ Pot-Limit Omaha tables. Overall, Stern played 1,229 hands over 21 sessions last week.
Grazvis1 was the only other player to score a six-figure profit last week. He won a total of $107,818 from 997 hands played over 18 sessions. He, too, was mainly seen at Pot-Limit Omaha tables on PokerStars.
tjbentham ranked 3rd in last week’s biggest online winners leaderboard. By the end of the week, the player had profits of $95,872 won from 1,047 hands played over 16 sessions on PokerStars. ltt1981 was the fourth biggest winner last week with $81,693 collected over 66 sessions and 2,903 hands played on PokerStars. OtB_RedBaron was the fifth player to comprise last week’s top five. His profits for the seven days reviewed amounted to $79,341. The player won the money over 92 sessions and 2,555 hands played on PokerStars.
Apart from his experience on the online poker scene, Daniel Stern is also a very proficient live tournament player. His live winnings currently amount to more than $3.5 million. Most recently, the player won two $25,000 buy-in Aria High Roller tournaments in two consecutive days.
