News

It was announced that GVC Holdings has entered into a partnership agreement with WMS Studio. The latter is a subsidiary of the US gaming supplier Scientific Games. According to the new deal, the gaming content developed by WMS will be rolled out across three gaming sites, owned by GVC Holdings.

The games will be available across the licensed Spanish and Belgian domains of partypoker, partycasino and bwin. Players would be able to enjoy more than twenty new titles. Some of the most popular games include Thai Flower, Rainbow Riches, Spartacus Gladiator of Rome. Expectations are the new gaming content to be completely integrated within a few weeks. All games will be available in desktop and mobile format.

Liron Snir, the Chief Product Officer of GVC, commented on the latest deal and said it was a major step towards diversifying the product offering and providing customers with top-class gaming content.

The Vice President Commercial, Interactive of Scientific Games, Bob Hays, was also reached for a comment related to the new partnership. He said that he was excited about the opportunity to continue working in collaboration with GVC. He added that he regarded the deal as a method for deepening their existing relations and remained hopeful that more gaming content will be released in future.

The partnership between GVC and Scientific Games was yet another attempt GVC has made with the aim of improving the product offering in the regulated markets. Since the acquisition of bwin.party in February, the company has been predominantly focused on strengthening its positions on the European gambling markets.

GVC has penned a few favourable partnership agreements of late. At the end of September, it inked agreements with two gaming giants – iSoftBet and Microgaming’s Quickfire. According to the contract between Microgaming and GVC, the latter will have its partypoker, bwin and partycasino brands diversified. A part of the Microgaming Quickfire game collection will be available across the Spanish, Bulgarian and Belgian brands.

The other major boost for GVC’s popularity was the partnership with iSoftBet signed mere weeks ago. Under the deal, a selection of iSoftbet games will go live with some of the brands, run by the Isle of Man-based provider. The iSoftBet games will be available on the .com websites of partycasino, Sportingbet, CasinoClub, bwin.
