Internationally recognized gaming laboratory NMi Gaming announced the appointment of Filippo Ferri as Regional Manager for Spain and Latin America. Mr. Ferri brings with him a wealth of experience in the industry. Having worked in different gambling organizations over the past 12 years, he possesses extensive knowledge in both the online and land-based sectors of the industry.
Mr. Ferri’s previous experience includes senior roles in companies specializing in the development and deployment of server-based gambling systems as well as in the creation and provision of online gaming products, with mobile gaming platforms, virtual sports, and live dealer games being among those.
As a Regional Manager for Spain and Latin America, he will oversee NMi’s operations in a number of markets, including Spain where the lab has a long-time presence. It will also be his responsibility to look for better opportunities for drawing local and international gambling operators and to make sure that their offering complies with the regulations implemented in the jurisdictions they are interested to operate in.
Over the past several years, Mr. Ferri has been an active participant in the efforts for making Latin America a more attractive gambling region. He has been in contact with local gambling regulators and has advised them through the creation of more comprehensive and coherent technical regulatory frameworks. Mr. Ferri has also been among the main supporters of the Cumbre Iberoamericana del Juego discussion forum and has taken part in numerous other industry-related events.
Of Mr. Ferri joining the NMi team, Managing Director Andrew Rosewarne said that they are happy to welcome him into this important role and that they are all certain he will be able to provide effective leadership in the lab’s initiatives in Spain and across the Latin America. Proven track record, years of experience in the field, and knowledge of regulations and markets are among Mr. Ferri’s most highly appreciated qualities, ones that will benefit NMi and its work, Mr. Rosewarne added.
Mr. Ferri himself noted that he is excited to join NMi and to become important part of its expansion in attractive new markets. He further pointed out that it is their main goal to introduce to the region certification and compliance practices that will make it more attractive to leading gambling operators from different parts of the world.
