Gambling operator William Hill is set to go live with gaming content developed by Australian studio Lightning Box Games, it was announced today. Games will be rolled out across the major operator’s licensed betting offices in the UK.
As many as 2,300 betting shops will go live with titles by William Hill’s new content distribution partner. Those will be installed on more than 9,000 gaming devices. The initial roll-out is scheduled to commence in the second quarter of 2017.
The agreement will secure the major gambling operator with exclusive access to the Panda Power Deluxe and Silver Lion Deluxe games. Those have already proved to be quite popular among international online players. More titles by Lightning Box Games will be added to William Hill’s offering at a later stage.
Peter Causley, Managing Director and Co-Founder of the Australian supplier, commented that the deal penned gives his company the chance to extend its footprint in the UK gambling market. The official also added that it provides opportunities for omni-channel partnership with William Hill that would include offering going live to the operator’s retail, online, and mobile gambling customers.
Lightning Box Games are already available to European and North American players and have proved to be quite successful among them. According to Mr. Causley, their products will appeal to the British gambling audience, as well.
Of the upcoming launch of titles by the Australian studio, William Hill Head of Product and Content Andrew Sackey explained that they are eager to see the above-mentioned two titles be added to their diverse catalog of product offering and go live for their online and land-based players.
