LAC Expects Record Attendance for 2017 Event

Events & Reports

iGaming Business (iGB), the event organizer of the London Affiliate Conference, announced all available exhibition space for the 2017 event has been filled in a record time. The London Affiliate Conference (LAC), which is largely considered the biggest i-gaming affiliate event in the industry, is to take place between February 9 and February 12, 2017.

The conference was previously held at the Olympia exhibition centre, located in West Kensington, London. However, the 2017 event is to take place at the London ExCel Center at Royal Victoria Dock in order to accommodate the increased number of sponsors and exhibitors and allow them to reach affiliates.

The organizers reported over 5,000 delegates are expected to attend the event, which renders LAC the largest-scale affiliate and player acquisition conference in the online betting industry. The figures forecast for 2017 points to a 10% increase in attendance as 4,555 delegates took part in LAC’s 2016 edition. What is more, the record attendance indicates a significant growth from the conference’s 2007 inaugural event which had 600 delegates.

James King, iGB’s Group Head of Business Development, commented iGB are delighted with the continual growth and the support the event receives on behalf of exhibitors and sponsors. In King’s words, the record interest in the 2017 event serves as an indicator of an industry that is “going from strength to strength and continually innovating.”

King went on to say there are more branding opportunities available despite the fact the conference floor is currently booked. King asserted participation opportunities are still available to companies that want to partake in the event but have not succeeded in securing a floor space at this point.

The upcoming event will see the return of exciting features such as the iGB Affiliate Awards. The latter are free to attend for everyone who has registered to participate in the conference. The number of categories for the awards has been reduced from 32 to 25.

The Financial Partners Expo will be co-located with LAC in 2017. The Expo, which is the largest exposition for introducing brokers and affiliates within the retail finance sector, aims at providing them with opportunities to launch and enhance their businesses in this ever-growing, profitable niche.

The 2017 event’s programme will also include different panels and presentations focusing on industry updates, trends and analysis.
