fedor_holz_ept_barcelona_event_4_headerThe indisputable winner of the last World Championship of Online Poker event, organised by PokerStars, is Fedor Holz, who became a poker star at the age of 21. Holz is said to be a promising poker player who became widely recognised as the one who defeated a number of experienced and skilful players in Baden, one of the stops of the World Poker Tour. His poker strategy is regarded as unusual and even aggressive but yet effective and favourable for beating up his opponents.

It has been two years since his outstanding performance in the WPT and now Holz is the outright poker champion. He had defeated more than 2, 000 participants, which enabled him to earn the mind-blowing sum of $1.3 million. The final table competition was also really exciting.

Fedor Holz, also known in the poker field as the “CrownUpGuy” competed against proven poker professionals, including Victor “Isildur1” Blom, who has defeated many dangerous opponents during his career.

Soon after he became a champion, Holz said that he has just achieved one of his dreams – to take part in a prestigious poker tournament, and the unique feeling of being the winner was just incomparable to anything else. He also added that this was his greatest accomplishment and he was at a loss for words to describe his excitement. According to him, making right decisions and never underestimating your abilities is essential for becoming a champion.

Although the events from the last few days completely changed his life and made him famous in the poker industry, that’s not the first event of this kind Holz participates in. During the summer, he spent a month in Barcelona, Spain, where he was noticed by the local poker players who didn’t remain indifferent to the impeccable strategy and impressive abilities given his age. He won the European Poker Tour and despite the fact that the sum was not as impressive as the PokerStars award, the competition itself boosted his confidence. Holz also shared that he is going to buy a nice, spacious house for his family and contribute to their decent standard of living. He also admitted that this idea was really motivational and inspiring to him.

Holz Opponents’ Performance at the Final Table

Faraz Jaka, widely popular as the WPT Player of the Year, was ranked fifth, which brought him an income of more than $900, 000. The event was Dylan Linde‘s chance to make it to the final tables after the setbacks he had experienced. Just like the last year, Hortin finished seventh and got $214, 000.

Victor “Isildur1” Blom had a pretty disappointing performance and was the first to leave the final table with earnings, equal to $107, 000. The other players who reached a praiseworthy result were Yuri Martins, Claas Stoob, Elior Sion, Daniel Rudd.
