Evolution Gaming, provider of Live Casino and other solutions for the gambling industry, announced that it has penned an agreement with gaming services provider Scientific Games Corporation for the exclusive provision of a Live Casino version of the popular Ultimate Texas Hold’em.
It is important to note that Ultimate Texas Hold’em is one of the most preferred banked variants of Texas Hold’em in casinos around the globe. Annually, it generates the amount of €1.5 billion in gross gaming revenue.
Under the terms of the agreement, Evolution Gaming would be the sole provider of Live Casino solutions to be offering the game as part of its product offering. An extension of the three-and-a-half-year contract and the addition of more gaming titles from Scientific Games are also possible.
Generally speaking, Ultimate Texas Hold’em is a fully scalable game and makes it possible for an unlimited number of poker players to be dealt from a single table. Evolution Gaming pointed out that operators would likely use the game to convert poker customers into general casino customers. First licensees are to launch Ultimate Texas Hold’em this summer.
Commenting on the agreement, Tom Wood, Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Scientific Games, said that the game was the one to emerge as the dominant title among the various Hold’em games offered at brick-and-mortar casinos around the globe. Mr. Wood further noted that the product would be an excellent fit to the Live Casino environment and that they are extremely happy that Evolution Gaming and its gaming platform would be the supplier to make all that happen.
Evolution Gaming Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter said that they are excited with the fact that the gaming supplier has furthered its partnership with Scientific Games. Mr. Haushalter further noted being able to offer its customers the world’s most popular Hold’em variant would help the company once again cement its position as a leader in the provision of Live Casino solutions.
The executive explained that the addition of new exciting games to its product offering, which already includes titles like Three-Card Poker and Caribbean Stud, is part of the company’s strategy to seamlessly transition players from land-based gambling services to online ones.
