Bryan Paris Surpasses $10-Million Online Poker Winnings Mark

Bryan Paris, a poker professional from California who had moved to Europe to be able to play online, has become only the second player to have surpassed the $10-million mark in online tournament poker winnings, according to PocketFives’ tracker.

At the time this article is being written, the player has a total of $10,010,952 in online winnings. Paris is now keeping company to Englishman Chris Moorman, the only other poker pro to have gone beyond the $10-million mark. Moorman has racked up over $13.8 million in online tournament winnings over the course of his career.

After Black Friday, many poker players left the US in search for new destinations where they could play the game, an activity they have been doing for a living. Paris settled in Amsterdam and as it can be seen, has been doing very well in accumulating substantial earnings.

More than half of the player’s winnings have come from playing on PokerStars. To be more precise, the player has won the total amount of $5,970,165 from the world’s largest online poker room, where he can be spotted under the ‘bparis’ screen name. Over the years, Paris has also played on the Full Tilt, 888poker, partypoker, and Winamax websites.

The player has cashed in as many as 11,891 online tournaments since he began playing. As it can be expected, PokerStars in-the-money finishes dominate his online cash history. Paris has cashed in 8,456 such events.

Over the years, the poker pro has won 231 online tournaments, has finished 2nd in 274, and has took 3rd place in 253 events.

His biggest online cash amounted to $111,792. The player won it during the World Championship of Online Poker on PokerStars in September 2013 for finishing 4th in a $1,050 No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.

Paris has scooped several live tournament cashes but his live poker bankroll of $711,160 appears to be rather modest when compared to his online accomplishments. The player locked his best live cash in 2014 when he finished 4th in a EUREKA Vienna €1,100 Main Event for €72,230 ($100,542).

Paris and Moorman’s online poker achievement may soon be repeated by other players. Nicolas Fierro, known by the screen name ‘PokerKaiser’, and p0cket00 are the ones closest to hitting the $10-million milestone. The former has so far won $9,907,946 in online poker earnings and the latter has locked a total of $9,804,030.
