Red Rake Gaming announced Tuesday that it has inked a content supply deal with Casino Portugal to grow its Portuguese footprint even further.
Under the terms of the recently penned agreement, Red Rake Gaming will roll out its top performing online slots, including Super 12 Stars, Mystic Mirror, Knights, and The Asp of Cleopatra with Casino Portugal, one of the operators licensed to provide online gambling services in the Portuguese iGaming market.
Commenting on their latest supply deal, Nick Barr, Managing Director of Red Rake Gaming’s Malta operation, said that they consider their partnership with Casino Portugal “an exciting and important collaboration” as it would enable them to continue to expand their reach in the Portuguese market. Mr. Barr added that his company has seen “some very encouraging results from our games” since entering Portugal’s regulated online gaming space.
According to the Red Rake Gaming official, their work with Casino Portugal will prove to be a “fruitful partnership” for both the online gaming supplier and the gambling operator.
Casino Portugal’s Co-CEO, Antonio Laranjo, added that their operation is looking to consolidate its offering with recognized suppliers and “Red Rake’s portfolio is aligned with our goal of giving players access to some of the most innovative games around.”
Portuguese Expansion
The recently agreed partnership with Casino Portugal came in line with Red Rake Gaming’s strategy to grow its footprint in the Portuguese gambling market. The company first entered the local gaming space earlier this year through a partnership with locally licensed operator Bet.pt.
Red Rake Gaming will also see its content go live with one more major Portugal-facing operator. Late last month, the gaming supplier announced that it has penned a deal with French gambling group Betclic. Among other regulated markets, the operator also boasts strong presence in Portugal, which will certainly help Red Rake Gaming extend the footprint of its online slots in that particular regulated jurisdiction.
The provider’s Portuguese ambition is part of its larger strategy to focus on expanding in major regulated markets. To deliver on that strategy, Red Rake Gaming recently applied for and was granted a B2B license by the Malta Gaming Authority. The company also located part of its business in Malta to better position itself for growth in the highly competitive online gambling space.
Red Rake Gaming’s partnership was the latest of a series of recently announced content supply deals. Last month, the company announced that it would supply games to Novibet to expand its footprint in the regulated UK and Greek gambling markets.
A deal with Greek gambling group Stoiximan will see Red Rake Gaming further cement itself in Greece, Portugal, and Romania, among other regulated jurisdictions. And earlier this month, Red Rake Gaming announced that it would extend its footprint in the CIS markets, particularly in Ukraine, where it would provide online gambling brand Fonbet with a selection of its most popular online gaming titles.
