Play’n GO will further cement itself in the UK online gambling market through its latest commercial deal that will see the Malta-headquartered online casino content provider roll out its slots titles with a major operator.
In a press release from earlier today Play’n GO announced that it has penned a content supply deal with GentingBet, the UK digital operation of a local subsidiary of Malaysian gaming and hospitality giant Genting Group.
Under the terms of the recently inked agreement, GentingBet will go live with a selection of Play’n GO’s slots titles in the UK with the option to roll out content in Spain in the fourth quarter of the year.
GentingBet announced plans to expand in the Spanish digital gambling space early this year. The operator applied for both online gaming and online betting licenses to launch its offering in one of Europe’s largest regulated markets.
The agreement with Play’n GO represents another important step for GentingBet in its strategy to increase its European regulated presence. To better position itself for European expansion, the operator recently opened new interactive headquarters in Malta.
For Play’n GO, its content supply deal with GentingBet was the latest of a series of strategic agreements signed in recent months. Going live with the operator would enable the casino content provider to pursue its strategy to further expand in the UK iGaming space.
High Quality of Entertainment
Commenting on his company teaming up with GentingBet, Play’n GO Chief Executive Johan Törnqvist said today that their newest client is known for the “high quality of entertainment it brings to its players around the world” and that their slots library represents that quality.
GentingBet Managing Director Jeremy Taylor added that Play’n GO is a key player in the industry and partnering with them would further their vision of providing the best range of content to both their online and land-based casino customers.
Mr. Taylor added that Play’n GO with its selection of slots games is joining GentingBet at a very exciting time as the operator is gearing up preparations to launch its new mobile-first website that covers both sports and casino gambling. The new operation will run under the GentingBet brand.
Founded in 2005, Play’n GO provides a wide range of slots games for the online casino industry. Its content is tailored for compatibility with both desktop and mobile devices and with all operating systems. The supplier also provides back-end services to its clients, which include a casino platform and the server-based gaming solution OMNY.
Play’n GO was able to enter the newly regulated Swedish iGaming space early this year and to expand its presence in that market through multiple commercial deals. In May, the provider announced that it has teamed up with Sweden’s former gambling monopoly Svenska Spel to boost the operator’s offering as it looked to adapt to the new regulatory regime and maintain solid digital market presence.
