Pragmatic Play to Further Explore LatAm Markets with Codere Deal

News

A new major commercial deal will enable Pragmatic Play to further venture into Latin America, the online casino content supplier revealed in a press release from earlier today.

Pragmatic Play said that it has recently signed an agreement with Spanish gambling powerhouse Codere to provide the operator with its full library of slots as well as with its brand new live casino and bingo products.

The latest deal will help Pragmatic Play boost its presence in Spain and several Latin American markets, while enhancing Codere’s offering with popular titles such as John Hunter and the Aztec Treasure, Sweet Bonanza, and player favorite Wolf Gold. As mentioned above, the Spanish operator will also become the provider’s latest live casino and bingo client.

Codere has already rolled out Pragmatic Play’s slots in Mexico, one of the operator’s most important markets. The company is expected to go live with offering by the provider in Spain and Colombia soon.

The deal with Codere follows a recent content supply agreement between Pragmatic Play and Colombian online gaming and betting operator Wplay.co. Wplay was the first brand to obtain a license from Colombia’s regulator Coljuegos under the country’s new gambling law that came into effect a few years ago to liberalize and regulate the local iGaming and betting market.

Delighted with Their Latest Agreement

Of their agreement with Codere, Pragmatic Play Chief Business Development Officer Yossi Barzely said that they are delighted to team up with the major operator as it is one of the largest players in the Spanish and Latin American markets.

Mr. Barzely added that as the provider is “always looking to develop in regulated markets”, they are excited to further expand into “these promising territories.”

Codere Product Department Manager Erez Leket pointed out that they are thrilled to deliver Pragmatic Play’s “top-tier casino content” to their customers. The company official added that “innovative content is always important” and praised the provider for consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation with “incredible outcomes.”

Pragmatic Play’s in-house online casino content currently includes more than a hundred HTML5 games that are available in all currencies and 26 languages, and are certified in a wide number of major markets. At present, the company releases around three new slots each month and says that it plans to further boost the number of new releases in the near future.

As mentioned earlier, Pragmatic Plays has recently ventured into the live casino segment. Aside from its new live casino product, it has also gone live with bingo offering to tap into yet another lucrative market.

In addition to Codere, 1xBet and Interwetten have been some of the major online gambling operators to opt for Pragmatic Play’s new live casino in recent months.

The company announced late last month that it has received a Recognition Notice by the Malta Gaming Authority to offer its live casino and bingo to MGA-licensed online gambling operators.
