Casino content provider Red Rake Gaming is set to further extend its Italian foothold through a recent deal with local developer and provider Microgame.
Under the terms of the deal, Red Rake Gaming will provide its new partner with access to its diverse range of online casino titles. Microgame will be able to distribute these to its network of operators that service Italian gambling customers.
The recently inked content distribution deal follows several similar commercial agreements penned by Red Rake Gaming as part of its strategy to cement itself and its content in multiple regulated markets.
Italy has been among the most recent markets Red Rake Gaming has entered with its portfolio of online slots. The deal with Microgame enables the game supplier to extend its footprint in the lucrative Italian market.
Red Rake Gaming’s newest partner operates as both an application service provider as well as a developer and provider of content distribution platforms and integrated service systems. Microgame was established in 1996 in Italy and was among the pioneers in the country’s online gambling and sports betting markets.
Of their alignment with Microgame, Nick Barr, Managing Director for Red Rake Gaming’s recently established Malta operations, said that the deal is very important for their expansion in the Italian market. Mr. Barr went on that Microgame has a strong present in Italy and has established ties with a number of locally licensed gambling operators.
Launch of Red Rake Content to Take Place in the Coming Weeks
Microgame said that their strategy is to be market leaders and introducing exciting new content like Red Rake Gaming’s titles fits perfectly their objectives. The company also revealed that they are set to roll out Red Rake Gaming’s titles in the coming weeks.
As pointed out earlier, the Microgame deal is the latest of a series of agreements signed by Red Rake Gaming in recent months as part of its expansion strategy. Last month, the provider announced that its library of slots has gone live with Betzest, an online casino and betting website that was launched last year and has extended significantly its offering since its inception.
Through several deals inked earlier this year, Red Rake Gaming was also able to enter and extend its footprint in Portugal’s regulated gambling market. Casino Portugal, Bet.pt, and French gambling group Betclic were among the locally licensed operators that have gained access to the provider’s range of online slots. The content supplier also secured entry or expansion into Greece, Spain, and Ukraine, among other markets.
It was earlier this year again when Red Rake Gaming obtained a license from the Malta Gaming Authority. The move enabled the company to extend significantly its footprint across multiple markets. Red Rake Gaming received its license shortly after it opened an office in the Mediterranean island nation that has over the years established itself as one of the major online gambling hubs.
