Content Supplier BF Games Obtains Online Casino Games License in Romania

News

UK-based casino games developer BF Games today announced that it has obtained an online supplier license in Romania that would enable it to roll out its iGaming content with locally licensed online gambling operators.

The company has been offering its land-based slot machines on the territory of the country for some time now. The recently obtained license would enable it to further cement itself in the regulated Romanian market and expand into the nation’s iGaming space.

Under Romania’s gambling law, both content suppliers and online gambling operators that want to service Romanian gamblers in a regulated environment are required to obtain licenses from the local gambling authority, ONJN. The agency recently issued a Class II license to BF Games and under the terms of that license, the gaming company will be able to provide its content to operators authorized to offer gaming and betting services to Romanian players.

Online gambling companies can now integrate BF Games’ online slots library that includes new titles such as Ramses Rising and Book of Goods as well as hit classics Bonnie & Clyde, Stunning Hot, and Crystal Mania.

BF Games was the latest major industry supplier to venture into Romania’s online gambling market in recent months. It was this past August when casino games studio Stakelogic announced that it has been awarded a Class II license by the Romanian National Gambling Office.

Local Partnerships to Be Announced Shortly

In a press release from earlier today, BF Games said that it has already seen a lot of interest from locally licensed operators and that it expects to announce content supply deals with such operators shortly.

As mentioned earlier, the company has already been present in the Romanian gambling market and has been providing its land-based gaming machines.

Aside from Romania, BF Games has online licenses from the UK Gambling Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority, and Latvian gambling regulators. It also holds a land-based gaming permit in Montenegro.

Of their Romanian online expansion, BF Games Chief Executive Piotr Szpoton said that they are always looking to extend their footprint and “as Romania is a mature market, obtaining a new license here demonstrates our confidence in the market as well as our products.”

The gaming studio’s boss went on that they were able to enter Romania’s land-based space three years ago and to provide their slot machines through an exclusive partnership and “after seeing the positive results and the interest in our offering, we decided to enter the online vertical as well.”

BF Games is also gearing up preparations for the upcoming launch of its newest online slot – the rock’n’roll-themed Road Cash. The game will feature three reels, three rows, and a single payline and Lucky Heart symbols will guarantee Free Spins with extra win multipliers for players.
