Evolution Gaming has nabbed another major partner that will look to yield the benefits of integrating its award-winning Live Casino portfolio.
In a press release on its official website from earlier today, Evolution announced that it has teamed up with Dublin-headquartered gambling powerhouse Flutter Entertainment. Under the terms of the deal between the two major names in the global gambling industry, Flutter’s flagship brands Paddy Power and Betfair will go live with Evolution’s entire Live Casino library.
The deal also includes the Swedish live casino supplier’s exclusive game show titles such as Lightning Roulette, which scooped a trio of prestigious awards in 2018, and Deal or No Deal Live as well as Evolution’s international native speaking roulette package.
News about what Evolution calls a “landmark deal” arrived just weeks after Flutter captured the gambling headlines with its announcement about its behemoth £10 billion (£14.2 billion including debt) merger with Canadian gambling giant The Stars Group. The deal, slated to close sometime next year pending regulatory and other approvals, will create the world’s largest online gambling company with presence in multiple important markets and an arsenal of mega brands, including Paddy Power, Betfair, PokerStars, and Sky Betting & Gaming.
A Deal Years in the Making
Commenting on their latest content supply deal, Evolution Chief Commercial Officer Sebastian Johannisson said that “this is a landmark agreement for Evolution, a significant deal that we have been working towards for a number of years.”
The company official added that they are thrilled with the prospect of having Flutter’s flagship brands go live with their Live Casino offering and that Evolution and Flutter have matching visions in terms of “ambition and culture.”
Of the deal, Paddy Power Commercial Director Mike Phelan said that they are “incredibly excited to extend our offering in the Live Casino space by offering our players exclusive big brand live games” and that they have noticed the strong performance of Evolution’s product line in recent years, which has been the key to the recently penned deal.
Earlier this month, Evolution announced that it has extended its existing deal with gambling technology giant Scientific Games. The expanded agreement will see Evolution integrate its Live Casino range onto its partner’s Open Gaming System. The two companies first teamed up in 2016 and through a series of licensing agreements have secured increasing exposure of Evolution’s Live Casino content across a number of markets around the world.
Expansion in the US has been among Evolution’s most important goals in recent years. The company entered New Jersey’s regulated iGaming market in August 2018 to mark the debut of its products on American soil. Last month, Evolution announced that it has obtained a conditional Interactive Gaming Manufacturer license in Pennsylvania, which enables it to roll out its products with locally licensed online gambling operators.
