News

Provider of online casino technology and content Spin Games announced Tuesday that it has teamed up with Gamesys Group plc to provide its solutions to the gambling operator’s Virgin Casino Online and Tropicana Atlantic City casino websites.

Gamesys manages the online gaming service of Tropicana Atlantic City, one of Atlantic City’s nine operational casinos, on behalf of its parent company Tropicana Atlantic City Corp.

Founded in 2012 in Reno, Nevada, Spin Games designs, develops, and distributes proprietary real-money and social casino content as well as related technology for regulated markets. It is particularly focused on capitalizing on the growing North American iGaming market.

Its games are developed in an HTML5 format and are compatible with desktop and mobile devices. Through its ROC Remote Gaming Server platform, Spin Games also provides third-party content from some of the world’s most popular suppliers of games for the iGaming and social casino industries.

Under the terms of its recently penned agreement with Gamesys, Spin Games will provide Virgin Casino and Tropicana Atlantic City’s online casino with real-money and social gaming content via its ROC Remote Gaming Server. The games to be supplied to the two online casinos will include hit titles such as Crazy Money 2, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Raiden, among others.

In addition, the two gaming websites will gain access to NBA Last 60, a virtual sports product developed by Highlight Games that uses historical footage from NBA games.

Expanding New Jersey Reach

Spin Games was one of the first online gaming providers to obtain a license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement following the legalization of online gambling in the Garden State in 2013. The company has since then been looking to constantly expand its presence and cement its footprint in that state through strategic partnerships.

Commenting on their content supply deal with Gamesys, Spin Games CEO Kent Young said that they have devoted significant resources to developing products that will appeal to New Jersey players” and that their partnership with Gamesys will help them expand the reach of their content and technology library.

Kirsten Bond, General Manager of Gamesys’ New Jersey division, praised Spin Games for creating “an impressive collection of high-quality content” and that the addition of the provider’s library to their existing offering further shows that they always strive to provide their players with the best products available.

Gamesys and Tropicana Atlantic City joined forces for the launch of an online gaming operation in the summer of 2013, just a few months before the start of regulated iGaming in New Jersey. According to recent data, Tropicana Atlantic City’s Gamesys-powered online casino currently enjoys a 15% share in New Jersey’s online gambling market that has been growing growing over the years.
