After what has been deemed a successful beta launch of its new content aggregation platform, Swedish online gambling provider NetEnt said that it is now focusing on growing the aggregator’s network of operators and adding more content.
NetEnt soft-launched NetEnt Connect in early December, saying that it needed several weeks to monitor and validate the performance of the aggregation platform before a broader official launch.
NetEnt Connect was introduced to the industry through its partnership with online gaming operator Casino Room (a brand managed by Malta- and Sweden-licensed company Ellmount Group). In a statement on its official website, NetEnt said on Monday that several more operators have completed their integration with the content aggregator.
NetEnt Connect is now also live with Bethard and GML Interactive’s Greece-facing brand Stoiximan and its Germany-facing operation Betano.
NetEnt has also expanded the offering available on NetEnt Connect with more titles by online gambling provider Red Tiger. The aggregation platform was soft-launched with a selection of Red Tiger games, but the studio’s entire suite of 99 titles are now available on NetEnt Connect, along with content from NetEnt itself.
NetEnt purchased Red Tiger in the fourth quarter of 2019 in a bid to improve the weaker performance the Swedish gambling provider and supplier has recorded in recent years due to regulatory challenges in key markets and growing competition in the B2B segment.
NetEnt said Monday that aside from Red Tiger’s full suite of online slots, the studio’s Daily Timed Jackpots will also soon become available to operator partners.
Successful Bets Launch
Commenting on what is next for their content aggregation platform, NetEnt Connect Director Rob Fell said that they beta launch has been a success and that they are now “looking to ramp up even more to make use of NetEnt’s far reaching customer relationships and integrations” and that they are also “looking forward to widening the portfolio of content by adding more suppliers to the platform.”
The NetEnt Connect platform is set to be rolled out market by market, it has previously become known. In addition, the aggregator is set to soon feature more content by third-party game suppliers, with some of those already being integrated and ready for launch.
Of the latest addition to their portfolio of online gaming software solutions, NetEnt Malta Managing Director and Chief Product Officer Henrik Fagerlund said last month that the speed with which they have been able to launch Red Tiger titles with some of their existing customers “bears testament to the hard work and collaboration” since the acquisition of the studio was completed and “shows great promise for NetEnt Connect.”
Mr. Fagerlund also noted that their new content aggregator would be a key part of their growth strategy going forward.
