Relax Gaming gaming has signed a new important commercial deal with Finland’s Veikkaus as the operator is looking to enhance its online casino games offering, while the content provider is looking to strengthen its regulated footprint.
Under the terms of the recently penned deal, Relax Gaming will provide Veikkaus, Finland’s state-run gambling monopoly, with its in-house and third-party portfolio of online slots.
As a result from this new partnership, Veikkaus will gain access to the supplier’s constantly expanding library of proprietary titles, including hit games Snake Arena, Temple Tumble, and Money Train as well as upcoming releases from Relax Gaming’s roadmap.
Veikkaus will also be able to roll out a selection of content from its partner’s Silver Bullet and Powered By programs that feature casino games from a number of third-party studios. The Finnish gambling operator will thus gain access to popular titles and future releases from Big Time Gaming, Push Gaming, ReelPlay, and Kalamba Games, among others.
Relax Gaming’s partnership with Veikkaus came as the latest of a series of deals with tier one gambling operators the content provider has signed over the past year to increase significantly and accelerate the growth of its distribution network.
Through a series of partnerships with fellow aggregation platform providers, Relax Gaming has also been able to broaden its appeal and reach new brands and markets.
Digital Focus
To bring its offering in line with what the new generation of gambling customers expects from an operator, Veikkaus has been looking to boost its online offering with a number of deals with leading content providers.
Prior to partnering Relax Gaming, the only Finnish operator authorized to provide gambling services had penned similar deals with major suppliers NetEnt and Yggdrasil, among others.
Commenting on the latest operator to join their network of clients, Relax Gaming CCO Daniel Eskola said that “partnering with a Finnish brand as well respected as Veikkaus is a real milestone […] and puts Relax Gaming on the map of the World Lottery Association.“
The gaming official went on that their iGaming content platform “collates some of the most coveted slot and casino games in the industry, featuring a vast array of titles which will appeal to the unique demands and preferences of the Finnish market.”
Veikkaus Vice President of Casino Games Jan Hagelberg commented that their partnership with Relax Gaming will help their mission “to serve our players with the best possible content and accelerates our journey towards our 2020 business goals for Veikkaus online casino.”
Earlier this week, Veikkaus was slammed by Finnish media over a gambling technology deal it had signed with IGT without holding a tender process. The gambling operator stated that its deal with IGT represented extension of previously established relationship between the two companies, but experts on the matter argued that it was illegal.
