Malta-licensed casino game development studio True Lab has recently joined Yggdrasil’s YG Masters program, news emerged today.
The YG Masters program is one of the three core value propositions offered by Yggdrasil’s Publishing arm, the other two being YG Franchise and YG Game IP. YG Masters is focused on game development and distribution, while YG Franchise offers platform IP licensing and YG Game IP offers game IP licensing.

As part of YG Masters, True Lab has gained instant access to Yggdrasil’s GATI (Game Adaption Tools & Interface) technology and will be able to use it to implement its global business strategy.
True Lab is the latest of a host of major independent studios creating games for the online casino industry to join YG Masters. The program enables all members to design, develop and distribute high quality iGaming content using Yggdrasil’s technology and wide global network.
True Lab is part of the True Flip online casino group. It crafts HTML5 games with unique maths and gameplay and supplies these to a growing network of iGaming brands.
Some of its best performing titles include Victoria Wild, a multi-location game with a x20,000 max win, Startup Valley which offers players the chance to earn experience points within a thrilling bonus game, and Mining Factory.
YG Masters to Help True Lab Scale Business Operations
Commenting on securing a new partner for their YG Masters program, Stuart McCarthy, Head of Partner Strategy and Sourcing at Yggdrasil, said that they are thrilled to welcome True Lab and that the studio “has shown great promise with their recent games and that their roadmap is packed with exciting content that will deliver all the thrills and excitement players are looking for.”

Mr. McCarthy went on to say that it will be fantastic to see True Lab being integrated with their GATI product, commercialize their roadmap, and help them achieve their global growth ambitions.
Vasily Polynov, Chief Business Development Officer at True Lab, added that their partnership with Yggdrasil puts their content together with their partner’s “world-class” YG Masters program and that integration through GATI will give the studio the opportunity to scale its business operations in a very effective manner.
Mr. Polynov also noted that True Lab aims to grow its access to a number of regulated markets in the coming months and “GATI is the ultimate tool and interface that will enable access to Yggdrasil’s regulatory markets through a single integration.”
GATI is a preconfigured development toolkit that is regulation ready and helps game development studios to use standardized technology to develop and deliver games anywhere around the world.
In other words, YG Masters partners can thus source, build, and distribute their content and crucially accelerate their global reach and find new ways to grow their revenues.
It should also be noted that all Yggdrasil partners integrated with GATI are able to cross-sell their gaming titles to any global Yggdrasil Franchisee.
