IWG to Develop Instant Win Games Based on Hit NetEnt Casino Titles

News

Swedish online casino content supplier NetEnt has signed a new intellectual property agreement that will see some of its gaming titles being transformed into instant win games.

NetEnt has teamed up with instant win games specialist IWG, the company announced today in a press release on its website. This newly penned partnership will enable IWG to develop a number of instant win games based on NetEnt’s widely popular content.

The first IWG games based on NetEnt’s assets are expected to be launched in the third quarter of the year. The titles will become available across IWG’s network which currently comprises 21 lotteries servicing players from around the world.

The games will also be available through IWG’s Progressive Play Remote Gaming Server.

Based and licensed in the UK, IWG specializes in the development of instant win games. The company’s portfolio includes more than 100 titles that cover a variety of styles, themes, mechanics, and prize structures.

IWG’s content can be localized for any market and is available in flash and HTML5. Branded titles such as all-time classic Monopoly can, too, be spotted in IWG’s portfolio as the company has signed a number of commercial partnerships enabling it to diversify its offering and boost player experience.

Widening Portfolio Reach

Of their partnership with IWG, NetEnt Commercial Officer Andy Whitworth said that the deal is in line with their strategy “of widening our portfolio reach and building brand awareness in new markets.”

Mr. Whitworth went on to say that the move is particularly important for NetEnt as it enables the company’s games to reach new players in the lottery sector. The official also expressed confidence that great new games will come out by combining IWG’s skill and our renowned IP.”

IWG’s CEO, Rhydian Fisher, commented that they have long been fans of NetEnt’s portfolio that it is really exciting for them, their clients, and their players to be able to offer the Swedish supplier’s widely popular brands for the first time to their network.

This is the second IP partnership announced by NetEnt in recent weeks. Late last month, the company and fellow iGaming content supplier ReelPlay signed an IP agreement to strengthen the rights associated with with their respective franchises InfiniReels and Infinity Reels.

NetEnt’s InfiniReels mechanic increases the number of reels in a slot game with each win, with an infinite number of reels and win ways available within that game. ReelPlay’s product is based on a similar concept.

NetEnt is set to debut its first InfiniReels game – Gods of Gold InfiniReels – on May 14.
