Resorts World Las Vegas Unveils Giant LED Screen on West Hotel Tower

News

Resorts World Las Vegas, a $4.3 billion integrated resort currently under development on the Las Vegas Strip, unveiled a 100,000-square-foot LED screen with a fireworks show during the Fourth of July holiday this past weekend.

The screen will be one of the highlights of the luxury property when it opens doors for guests in the summer of 2021.

One of the largest LED building displays in the US, the screen is located on Resorts World’s West Tower. It comprises 3,552 individual LED panels.

The screen is around 294 feet high and 340 feet wide. Property officials said over the weekend that it took about seven months to install. The newly debuted display is one of several LED screens that will be located around the property.

When fully built and operational, Resorts World will feature more than 200,000 square feet of LED content. Additional displays around the property will include a 19,000-square-foot screen on the East Tower, a 10,000-square-foot marquee, and a 50-foot diameter globe that will be displaying more than 6,000 square feet of LED content, among others.

As mentioned earlier, Resorts World Las Vegas is slated for summer 2021 launch. News emerged last month that the property sought approval from Clark County officials to become a stop in Elon Musk’s Las Vegas Convention Center Loop underground transit system.

First Look at Hilton, Conrad Guest Experience

Resorts World recently offered a first look at its 3,500-room luxury accommodations. The property unveiled design plans for two of its three planned guestroom experiences, Hilton and Conrad.

Resorts World teamed up with hospitality giant Hilton this past February in a deal that would bring three of the latter’s most popular brands to the luxury resort and the Las Vegas Strip, with those three being Hilton Hotels & Resorts, LXR, and Conrad. Resorts World’s 3,500 rooms and suites will also be part of Hilton’s guest-loyalty program Hilton Honors that spans across the hospitality group’s 18 brands.

Resorts World’s Conrad guest experience will include 550-square-foot rooms that will feature “a strong connection between contemporary appeal, luxe amenities, and curated art to inspire the entrepreneurial spirit of the globally connected traveler.”

The Conrad guest accommodations were designed by West Hollywood-based international and luxury interior design firm KNA Design.

As for what would operate as Hilton Las Vegas, Resorts World said that it would feature 400-square-foot deluxe rooms that will “seamlessly blend functionality with comfort, providing a custom-tailored space for both work and play.”

The rooms were designed by internationally recognized interior architectural design firm Wilson & Associates.
