The weekly update of the 2015’s most profitable online poker players leaderboard shows that certain changes have taken place. Finnish poker pro Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies, who topped the ranking for quite some time, was replaced by JayP-AA. Mikael “punting-peddler” Thuritz and Elior “Crazy Elior” Sion have also switched places.
And here is a list of the five online players that have won most since the beginning of the year and where they can be spotted.
JayP-AA
The player is known for his preference for Pot-Limit Omaha. He has won $912,490 since the beginning of 2015 spending hours at PokerStars high stakes tables. JayP-AA was first seen in online poker rooms in April 2011. Since then, he has played more than 104,000 hands.
On February 8, 2015, he won his biggest pot totaling $229,947. Earlier that day, he also won a pot amounting to $123,050.
Ilari “Ilari FIN” Sahamies
As mentioned above, Ilari FIN was on top of the annual leaderboard for quite some time. He was the first online player to win more than $1 million in 2015. According to latest data, the Finnish poker pro has a total of $882,841.
Ilari FIN can be spotted at PokerStars Pot-Limit Omaha tables. His biggest pot winning amounts to $457,945 from a $200/400 Pot-Limit Omaha game, dating back to November 2012.
bbvisbadforme
This player’s first appearance at a Full Tilt Poker high stakes table can be traced back to May 2011. Since then, he has played more than 650,000 hands. bbvisbadforme can be seen at both Texas Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha tables.
His online winnings currently amount to $837,097.
He won his biggest pot of $248,551 in November 2013 at a Full Tilt Poker $200/400 No-Limit Texas Hold’em table.
Mikael “punting-peddler” Thuritz
The Swedish player has won $340,922 since the beginning of 2015. He, too, can be spotted at Full Tilt Poker Texas Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha tables. He was first seen at those in December 2012. Since then, he has played more than 150,000 hands.
His biggest pot winning dates back to August 20, 2013, when the player won $395,382 at a $400/800 No-Limit Hold’em poker table.
Thuritz can also be seen at PokerStars high stakes tables under the alias ChaoRen160. In fact, the player tops this week’s leaderboard with $247,647, won at Pot-Limit Omaha tables.
Elior “Crazy Elior” Sion
The English player won $311,825 in the first three months of 2015. He is best known for playing Texas Hold’em, Pot-Limit Omaha, and Omaha Hi/Lo at the high stakes tables of PokerStars.
Crazy Elior was first spotted online back in August 2011 and since then he has played more than 160,000 hands. His biggest pot amounts to $52,200, won at a $100/200 No-Limit Hold’em table.
