PPC Poker Tour to Host Last Chance Satellite Buy-in Event at the Running Aces Harness Park

download (2)The final event of the PPC Poker Tour is coming soon and is expected to gather fans and pros from around the world. The event will take place at the Radisson Aruba Resort from the 15th to the 21st of October. In order to sign in for the PPC Aruba Championship, players must buy-in with a $2,200 fee. The starting prize pool is $200,000 and the event will be broadcast live by the PokerNews.

For those who want to have a shot at playing for the final event, this Sunday at noon, they can get their last chance at the Running Aces Harness Park, where a $550 satellite mini-event will be hosted by PPC. The event will have the famous poker player p0kerH0 (Mark Kroon) as a host and Sandy Swartzbaugh as a live reporter. Swartzbaugh is a Commissioner of Poker Tour. Those who join the event may win $5k bundles for the PPC Aruba World Championship. The bundles have amazing offers such as $200 registration package to a $15k event, a full week at Rui Palace or Radisson resorts, additional expenses covered by a flight credit, VIP tickets for the introduction party and other. The welcoming party will be hosted by none other than Joe Serock. He is known for winning the 2012 PPC Aruba Championship as well as earning an award for best player for the same year. The bundle of course covers the buy-in fee for the PPC Aruba Main Event as well.

Currently, there are over a hundred people who have earned themselves packages for the Main Event. Fifty of them are reported to come from the State of Florida and around thirty to be from Silks Poker Room. John Ott is one of those players who managed to win a former PPC Main Event at Tampa Downs. He earned $85k and has two PPC first places so far. He is one of two men who has won two PPC championships, including Pam Buzzetto.

Another interesting happening at the championship will be the so called Player of the Year race, where players from this and former years are scored on a leaderboard and a winner is selected. The current number one is Parry Shaw, however the second place is only 200 points behind. The current second spot is held by Mr. Ott, who came ahead of close to 600 other players from his region.

Other famous pro poker players who will make their appearance at the PPC Aruba Main Event are Joe Ebanks and Ronnie Bardah. When the PPC Championship at Aruba ends, it will not be totally over as the Season 3 will start just right after. There will be five events from the 22nd to the 26th of October only in Silks Poker Room. Season 3 will comprise of thirty big events and much more smaller preliminary events, with $225 sign-up fees and $50k guaranteed prize pools. Events will be hosted in Florida, Wisconsin as well as Nevada states.
