Trump’s daughter has already informed the media that soon the removal project will start and the letters that spell out the name of Trump will be gone for good.

The reason for that is the complicated situation and the legal proceedings between Donald Trump, his daughter and Trump Entertainment – the company they no longer own. That’s why they insist on removing the letters from the exterior of Trump Taj Mahal casino as well.

Trump and his daughter accused the current owner of neglecting the condition of the casinos and letting them reach the bottom. Such a decay was in contradiction of the agreement both sides have signed. Currently, the situation with the last casino, Taj Mahal, is really complicated and it is likely to close in the middle of November.

Ivanka Trump said that the removal of her father’s name from the exterior is essential. She also added that Trump is associated with luxury, high standard and experience that exceeds customers’ expectations of excellence but now these factors are not present.

No official announcement was made by Trump Entertainment though.

Despite the fact that Trump wants his name to be completely removed from the name of the last operating casino and from Trump Entertainment Resorts, his daughter shared that her father is still making efforts to save Taj Mahal from bankruptcy.

At an earlier stage, Donald Trump has officially announced that his name should no longer be involved in any venture of the company. He also added that he is bitterly disappointed with the approach the new owners have towards managing the properties and the present standards have nothing to do with those, established by Trump.

The Delaware court is in charge of the proceedings of the bankruptcy of Trump Entertainment. Further hearings were scheduled but Donald Trump and the billionaire Carl Icahn are still making attempts to prevent the closure.

As a matter of fact, Taj Mahal may remain open if the requirements of Carl Icahn are satisfied. He said that he might think about converting the debt into ownership but before he does that, the Atlantic City Authorities have to ensure a tax relief for the casino.

Trump owns only 9% of the debt, in other words – an insignificant percentage of a company in bankruptcy that also faces up the probability of closing the last casino it owns. Ivanka and Donald Trump are convinced that if people continue to associate them with problematic and closed casinos, that will not have particularly positive impact on the industry.
