Several major poker tournaments are scheduled to start in the upcoming week, with the APPT Season 9 Macau and the Deepstack Extravaganza III being among them. More about those and a number of other exciting poker events could be found below.
2015 $100K GTD Mini-Series May
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, one of Atlantic City’s most popular gambling venues, will be hosting a five-day $180 No-Limit Hold’em event with a guaranteed prize pool of $100,000 as part of the May Mini-Series. The event is scheduled to kick off on May 18 and will run through May 22 when the final table is to take place.
2015 Deepstack Extravaganza III
Deepstack Extravaganza III will undoubtedly be one of the longest and most exciting poker festivals this summer. It will be hosted by The Venitian in Las Vegas from May 20 up to July 19. The tournament will feature more than 50 different No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha events, with the $5,000 No-Limit Hold’em with a guaranteed prize pool of $2,000,000 being among those. Players will also be given the opportunity to enter a few other events with prize pools of and more than $1,000,000.
The buy-in fees vary from $200 to $5,000.
2015 APPT – Macau
City of Dreams Macau will once again play host to Season 9 of the Asia Pacific Poker Tour. The tournament will start on May 20 and will continue through May 31. A number of events will be featured, with the HK$100,000 No-Limit Hold’em and the HK$25,000 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event being among the most exciting ones.
Speaking of the five-day Main Event, it is set to start on May 27 and the final table will take place on May 31.
2015 Summer Poker Series
The tournament will take place between May 21 and June 17 at The Bicycle Casino in Bell Gardens, California. A number of No-Limit Hold’em and Omaha events will be featured. The buy-in fees vary from $65 to $345 for the Main Event. It is to start on May 22 and will run through May 25 when the final table is scheduled to take place. Entries will have the chance to receive a portion of the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
2015 GUKPT Cardiff
The GUKPT will next stop at Grosvenor Casino in Cardiff for a week-long tournament. It is to run from May 24 through the last day of May. The buy-in fees start from £20 for the Main Event satellites. The Main Event itself will begin on May 28, with the final table set for May 31. Players will need to pay the amount of £550, in order to be able to enter it.
