Traditionally, the event is organized by Smile-Expo, one of the largest companies to arrange gaming exhibitions in Russia and across the Commonwealth of Independent States.
The organizer expect that this year’s edition of the Russian Gaming Week will be attended by more than 4,000 people.
The Betting Awards 2015 will be among the highlights of the gaming expo. The ceremony is aimed at celebrating the achievements of betting networks, payment solutions providers, media and other industry members during the past 12 months. Awards will be distributed in 10 different categories. The winners will be voted by both gaming experts and journalists from Russia and other countries.
Last year, the Russian Gaming Week, which was held on June 5-6 attracted more than 2,000 visitors. The expo took place right before the Russian government introduced important amendments in the country’s gambling laws related to the regulation of bookmaking and lottery, which became effective a month later. Quite expectedly, the events were reflected in the expo’s concept and were among the topics that attendees paid most attention to.
Smile-Expo commented on last year’s two-day event, saying that they achieved their goal to promote “meaningful dialogue” between the state and the gambling industry as well as to help Russian and foreign gaming companies establish long-standing and productive partnerships.
