Revenue from table games in Indiana slid at the most notable annual rate of 7.31% in 2011. In 2014 6 casinos posted a drop in their annual table revenue, while 5 establishments posted revenue growth. During the year revenue from table games went down at the fastest rate at Majestic Star II, or 43.65%, while the most significant growth rate was observed at Ameristar (the whopping 109.06%).

2013 saw a table revenue decline at 8 casinos and a revenue growth at 3 establishments. Revenue from table games shrank the most at Casino Aztar, or 56.63%, while the fastest rate of growth for that indicator was reported at Horseshoe SI (10.18%).

Within the group, 3 casinos posted a drop in their revenue from table games in three out of the past five years. These were Blue Chip, Casino Aztar and French Lick.

Within the group, 4 casinos posted a slump in their table revenue in four out of the past five years. These were Ameristar, Belterra, Hollywood and Majestic Star II.

Majestic Star has been the only establishment to report a table revenue decrease in all five years. In addition, Hollywood Casino and Majestic Star have been the only two establishments to post a decline in their table revenue in four consecutive years (2011-2014).

During the period 2010-2013, Ameristar and Majestic Star have been the only casinos in Indiana to post consecutive declines in their table revenue.

During the period 2010-2011, 6 casinos reported consecutive declines in their revenue from table games, with the largest two-year drop being at Grand Victoria (57.55%) and the smallest – at Majestic Star (9.58%).

Revenue from slot machines in Indiana has been falling since 2011, with the most notable annual decrease being observed in 2013 (8.95%). In 2014 12 casinos posted a drop in their annual slot revenue, while only one establishment (Tropicana) made an exception. In 2014 revenue from slot machines slumped the most at Hollywood Casino, or 28.67%.

2013 marked a predominant decline in slot revenue in Indiana. 12 establishments reported a revenue decrease and only one (Indiana Grand) had a modest increase. Within the group, in 2013 slot revenue went down at the fastest pace at Casino Aztar, or 58.63%.

Total casino gaming revenue in Indiana has been in a downtrend since 2009, with the most significant annual decline being observed in 2013 (8.61%). In 2014 11 casinos posted a drop in their annual total casino gaming revenue, while only 2 establishments had an increase – Ameristar and Tropicana. In 2014 total casino gaming revenue plunged the most at Hollywood Casino, or 27.34%.

2013 has also been a year of predominant decline in terms of total gaming revenue for Indiana casinos. 12 establishments reported a revenue drop and only one (Indiana Grand) had an increase. Within the group, in 2013 total gaming revenue fell the most at Casino Aztar, or 58.36%.

Within the period 2009-2011, the revenue share of table games in total casino gaming revenue showed a consistent decrease, which was followed by a consistent increase between 2012 and 2014. In 2014 table revenue share actually exceeded the 2009 level (the previous high during the period 2009-2013) to account for 15.07% of total casino gaming revenue.

The opposite tendency was to be observed in revenue share of slot machines. Within the period 2009-2011, it rose on a consistent basis and was then followed by a consistent decrease during the period 2012-2014. In 2014 slot revenue share actually fell to a new low (the previous low during the period 2009-2013 was in 2009) to account for 84.93% of total casino gaming revenue.

Within the group of 15 casinos, 5 establishments had their table revenue share diminished in two out of the past five years. These were Horseshoe SI, Horseshoe HD, Hollywood Casino, Grand Victoria and Casino Aztar.

Within the group, 4 casinos had their table revenue share diminished in three out of the past five years. These were Belterra, Blue Chip, French Lick and Majestic Star.

Within the group, 2 casinos had their table revenue share decreased in four out of the past five years – Ameristar and Majestic Star II. Ameristar has also been the only establishment within the group to have its table revenue share decreased in four consecutive years (2010-2013). In addition, Ameristar and Majestic Star II have been the only two casinos within the group to have their table revenue share diminished in three consecutive years (2010-2012). Among the two, the three-year table revenue share slump was the highest at Majestic Star II, or 52.69%, while at Ameristar the three-year drop was 42.10%.

Within the group of 15 casinos, 6 establishments had their slot revenue share decreased in two out of the past five years. These were Belterra, Blue Chip, Casino Aztar, French Lick, Majestic Star and Rising Star.

Within the group, 3 casinos had their slot revenue share diminished in three out of the past five years. These were Hollywood Casino, Horseshoe HD and Horseshoe SI. Horseshoe SI has also been the only establishment within the group to have its slot revenue share decreased in three consecutive years (2012-2014). The three-year drop was 5.52%.

Ameristar, on the other hand, has been the only casino to have its slot revenue share increased in four consecutive years (2010-2013). The four-year gain was 7.45%.

Gross revenue from table games at casinos across the state of Indiana fell 7.20% in April 2015 compared to March, following a 10.86% gain, recorded in March compared to February. In monthly terms, in April the largest table revenue drop was observed at Horseshoe HD (-27.39%), while the largest revenue gain was reported by Belterra (47.97%).

In March the most significant monthly table revenue growth was observed at Hollywood Casino (29.64%), while the largest monthly decline in revenue from table games was reported by Belterra (-28.09%).

In February the most significant monthly table revenue growth was seen at Majestic Star II (17.46%), while the most considerable monthly slump was reported by Rising Star (-43.35%).

In January monthly table revenue rose the most at Belterra (72.46%) and dropped the most at Horseshoe SI (-19.29%).

Two casinos (Rising Star and Tropicana) reported a drop in their table revenue in three out of the past four months, while 8 establishments posted a table revenue decline in two out of the past four months.

Within the group of 13 casinos, Majestic Star II has been the only establishment to report three consecutive months of table revenue growth (the period of January-March). At the same time, Rising Star has been the only casino to report three consecutive months of table revenue decrease (the period of February-April).

Within the group, only two casinos reported back-to-back (February and March) declines in their table revenue – Belterra and Rising Star. Among the latter, Belterra’s two-month revenue drop has been the largest (-67.06%) compared to -48.81% for Rising Star.

Within the group, only one establishment posted back-to-back (February and March) gains in its revenue from table games – Majestic Star II. The two-month revenue growth was 20.81%.

Gross revenue from slot machines at casinos across the state of Indiana marked a 3.97% slump in April 2015 compared to March, following a 9.77% gain, registered in March compared to February. In monthly terms, in April the largest slot revenue drop was observed at Rising Star (-12.90%). All casinos, with the exception of Horseshoe SI, posted a decline in their revenue from slot machines in April. Horseshoe SI boosted its slot revenue by 24.08% during the same month.

In March 2015, all casinos, with the exception of Horseshoe SI, reported slot revenue growth, with the highest rate being at French Lick Casino (27.47%). Slot revenue at Horseshoe SI tumbled 15.03% in March.

In February the most significant monthly slot revenue growth was seen at Indiana Grand (10.61%), while the most considerable monthly slump was reported by French Lick (-10.11%).

In January monthly slot revenue expanded the most at Horseshoe SI (5.25%) and dropped the most at Blue Chip (-12.44%).

Two casinos (Blue Chip and French Lick) reported a drop in their slot revenue in three out of the past four months, while the remaining 11 establishments posted a slot revenue decline in two out of the past four months.

Within the group of 13 casinos, Horseshoe SI has been the only establishment to post back-to-back (February and March) declines in its slot revenue, with the two-month drop being 20.14%.

Within the group, 8 casinos reported back-to-back (February and March) gains in their revenue from slot machines. The two-month revenue growth was the largest at Horseshoe HD (20.29%) and the smallest at Tropicana (6.02%).
