NetEnt Signs First US Deal with bwin.party and Borgata

News

Swedish online gaming solutions provider NetEnt announced that it had signed the first US agreement for the provision of its multichannel casino games to New Jersey’s bwin.party and Borgata brands.

At present, bwin.party runs New Jersey’s gaming platform, supporting the Borgata Poker and Casino and the PartyPoker brands.

As previously announced, NetEnt had applied for a temporary gaming license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, in order to be able to provide its content on the territory of the state. The gaming regulator is currently reviewing the application and is expected to announce whether the online casino supplier will receive a full operating license.

The Managing Director of NetEnt Americas LLC, Björn Krantz, commented that they are extremely happy that bwin.party and Borgata have chosen their multichannel desktop and mobile products. Mr. Krantz also pointed out that NetEnt will be perfectly able to support the two operators in their strategy to provide customers with the best possible experience.

As the executive himself noted, the three parties are now subject to an approval from the state gaming regulator and are working together to successfully integrate NetEnt’s content and launch it as part of the above-mentioned gaming platform.

Jeffrey Haas, Group Director and Director of Poker at bwin.party, commented that it is their top priority to deliver the best possible products to their New Jersey customers. According to him, the integration of NetEnt content is yet another step towards meeting this objective.

Steve Nathan, Vice President of Marketing for Borgata, said that they opted for NetEnt’s products, as they were impressed by the supplier’s performance on the European regulated markets. Mr. Nathan also added that they are looking forward to launching the first set of multichannel casino games and thus, providing their customers with unique gaming experience.

The agreement with bwin.party and Borgata was not the only one the Swedish company has inked since the beginning of 2015. In March, NetEnt announced its partnership with Spanish gambling operator Codere.

In April, the gaming supplier was awarded both operating and software licenses by the UK Gambling Commission. Furthermore, NetEnt signed a partnership deal with Danish government-owned gaming operator Danske Spil. And last week, a number of NetEnt’s online casino games went live in Spain with operators such as 888, Paf and Premiere Megaplex, as the country’s Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling granted the company two gaming licenses.
