Full_Tilt_Poker_Logo.svgYesterday, the Full Tilt authorities reported that they have just parted ways with two of the poker players they used to support. Poker fans, who keep a close eye on the activities in the platform, usually associate the efficient poker strategy and the impressive poker skills with two major players, supported by Full Tilt – Gus Hansen and Viktor “Isildur1” Blom.

In an announcement, that has been released by Full Tilt, the authorities confirmed the end of the sponsorship of both players. The managers wished them good luck in their future endeavours.

The announcement didn’t come as a surprise for the diehard fans who notice every small change of the platform. Last week the latest version of the website was launched and the list of the names of the poker players didn’t include Hansen and Blom.

As a matter of fact, some experts consider the decision to be the most reasonable one. Full Tilt just followed the tendency and stopped supporting poker players. Initially, all the famous online poker platforms thought that working in collaboration with prominent players will bring them a lot of benefits but it turned out to be a quite unprofitable investment.

Statistics show that several online gambling providers parted ways with their most popular and experienced players as soon as the contracts expired.

As far as the case of Blom and Hansen is concerned, the poker room representative said that from now on, the authorities will me more concentrated on presenting the experience and the personal stories of the players and all the aspects of the termination of the contracts were carefully considered.
That’s not the first contract termination though. Earlier this year Tom “Durrrr” Dwan left the room of “The Professionals”.

The spokesperson of Full Tilt also added that the fans shouldn’t be disappointed because the authorities have already prepared a wide number of exciting events that will make Full Tilt even more popular and attractive online gaming platform.

A television campaign, aimed at popularizing the gambling activities, is about to be launched pretty soon. According to the experts, the new market approach, started by Full Tilt, might be the beginning of the new era in the advertisements of online poker platforms. The authorities promised to reveal some further details later this week.

Nevertheless Hansen and Blom remain two of the most recognizable faces in the poker industry. Rumour has it that they are currently discussing the opportunity of moving to PokerStars but the authorities haven’t made an official announcement so far.

Despite the fact that PokerStars also made some changes and parted ways with a number of prominent players such as Joe Cada and Marcel Luske, the platform still supports Daniel Negreanu, Liv Boeree, which made some of the fans think that Blom and Hansen might join the team of the PokerStars Pros.
