NOVOMATIC Signs a Deal with the National Lottery of Israel

Werk VeszkenyIt has just been announced that the NOVOMATIC Holding, an internationally recognized producer of numerous gaming solutions, inked a deal with the National Lottery of Israel, officially referred to as Mifal Hapayis.

The contract’s duration is seven years, and under it NOVOMATIC will have to provide its video lottery system to the Israeli operator. The lottery system in question is said to be one of the most innovative and sophisticated technologies in the industry.

As it was announced, NOVOMATIC will have to supply a total of 150 retailer terminals, about 500 video lottery ones, and a core management system.

Once the initial seven-year contract expires, it might be renewed for the additional period of 13 years, provided that both parties are interested. NOVOMATIC pointed out in a special statement posted on its official website, that it expects to acquire the amount of €23 million in revenue by the end of the initial contract.

Thomas Graf, currently taking the position of a chief technology officer of NOVOMATIC, said that they are really proud to welcome their latest customer. He said that this partnership proves that the gaming market needs competition among the top gaming providers, so innovations can be developed and introduced more frequently.

Mr. Graf pointed out that NOVOMATIC is determined to achieve even greater success on the global lottery market, and the collaboration with Mifal Hapayis is only one of the many steps the company plans to take, in order to accomplish its mission.

Eli Dadon, chief executive officer of the Israeli lottery provider, shared that they are particularly pleased with their deal with NOVOMATIC. The executive also shared that the commitment with which the Austrian company treats its customers is an example of impeccable service. What is more, NOVOMATIC’s gaming solutions are what one could define as lesson in innovativeness.

Dadon said that Mifal Hapayis expects for the deal to turn out to be profitable and to help the lottery operator increase its revenues and thus, contribute more money to charities and other “good causes”.

Generally speaking, gambling is considered illegal in Israel, and only several enterprises have been granted licenses to offer such services in the country. Of those, Mifal Hapayis has been authorized to take charge of the Israeli national lottery.
