The Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency posted information about the financial performance of the state’s five casinos in June 2015. The gambling venues generated the total amount of $91.4 million.

Excluding Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, which opened doors in August 2014, revenue dropped 5.1% year-on-year. The decline was attributed to the changes in the market share of each of the four other facilities that resulted from the launch of the Baltimore property. Including the latter casino, revenue grew 26.9% year-on-year.

Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County reported June revenue of $6.4 million from both its slot machines and table games, up 8.2% as compared to what was posted this time last year. The casino features 850 slot machines and 22 table games, of which 12 banking and 10 non-banking. Slot machines generated an average of $215.72 per machine per day. Banking table games generated $2.344.62 and non-banking ones generated $303.13.

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City posted revenue of $23.1 million. As mentioned above, the property opened doors in August 2014. It features 2,203 slot machines and 179 table games, of which 154 banking and 25 non-banking. Slot machines generated $187.89 per machine per day. Banking table games generated $2,146.61 per day and non-banking ones generated $1,015.52.

Maryland Live! Casino in Anne Arundel County, which is known to be the state’s largest casino, posted June revenue of $52.9 million, down 6.3% year-on-year. The facility features 4,060 slot machines and 202 table games, of which 150 banking and 52 non-banking. Slot machines generated an average of $270.50 per machine per day. Banking table games generated $4,008.46 per day and non-banking ones generated $1,244.53.

Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County reported monthly revenue of $5.3 million, up 10.1% from June 2014. The property features 800 slot machines and no table games. The average amount of $220.37 per machine per day was generated last month.

Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County posted the amount of $3.7 million down 1% as compared to what was reported one year ago. The facility operates as many as 579 slot machines and 18 table games – 16 banking and 2 non-banking ones. Daily, each slot machine generated an average of $181.50. Banking table games generated $1,103.96 and non-banking ones generated $282.35.
