
The resort is situated within the Thua Thien-Hue province and the considerable interest in the so-called Requests for Concepts led to the necessity of extending the deadline.
The new deadline is September 15 and by that time every investor must submit their concepts. This is an excellent opportunity for all prominent investors to send the necessary information and take part in the event organized by Banyan Tree Group, the company that manages the resort.
Back in May, Laguna Lăng Co launched the Request for Concepts related to the gaming faculty that would be included in the plan for developing Laguna Lăng Cô. The latter is a premium resort in Vietnam, which spreads over 280 hectares. The property is located near the Lang Co Bay famous for its pristine coastline and the close proximity to a number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Phase II of the master plan development has recently started. It will comprise of a condominium faculty as well as residential villas overlooking the East Sea.
As for the first phase of the project, it features a number of exciting sport and leisure options including, but not limited to luxurious residences, golf course, spa area, restaurants, bars conference center, etc.
During the construction of Phase IIA, some other upper-class facilities will be added. There is a chance for a gaming facility to be established.
Andrew Klebanow, a partner at the company that is in charge of the games facility market assessment, said that the gambling industry in Vietnam is yet to undergo its revitalization. He also implied that it is possible for the country to review the existing gambling laws and make them less strict. It will undoubtedly attract more investors. Currently, companies interested in starting a casino venture in Vietnam are eligible for providing their services to foreigners only.
As for the deadline extension of the RFC, he said it was a necessary measure that provides enough time for all parties to adjust to the requirements and encourages more foreign companies to take part in the process.
