The new facility will be on LAVO’s second floor. A joint venture between Tao Group and The Palazzo, it is to present customers with amenities that no traditional casino or a nightclub offer.
George Markantonis, President and Chief Operating Officer of The Palazzo, The Venetian, and Sands Expo, said that their goal is to provide an avant-garde approach to “the glamorous history of gambling” and evolve experience in a manner that has never been seen on the Strip.
Commenting on the ambitious project, Jason Strauss, a Tao Group partner, said that LAVO Casino Club will transform the concept of gambling experience and nightlife into something that has not been heard of in Las Vegas.
The casino club will be launched in mid-September and will feature blackjack at first. Craps, roulette, and baccarat are to be added in the months to come.
Mr. Strauss noted that Las Vegas will finally have a place where people can gamble with friends and enjoy cocktails at the same time. Gambling customers who would like to be offered “more exclusive experience” will be given the chance to opt for Tao Group’s VIP service.
Generally speaking, guests at LAVO Casino Club can select classic premium cocktails from LAVO’s mixology menu. A butler’s cart will serve those to the gaming table. Customers will also be given the opportunity to order from the restaurant’s traditional Italian menu. Furthermore, the club will feature sports events on the flat-screen TVs.
Yet another special feature the new LAVO Casino Club is to offer to its guests will be the opportunity to reserve a blackjack table for a group. Thus, people will have the chance to share their Las Vegas casino experience with their closest friends.
LAVO Casino Club will be open for visitors on Fridays and Saturdays beginning 8 pm. During football season, it will open at 11 am on Saturdays and at 9 am on Sundays.
