NetEnt Games Go Live with New Jersey’s Borgata Online Casino

News

Popular developer and provider of numerous online casino gaming solutions announced that a selection of its titles has gone live with the Borgata Online Casino in New Jersey. This is NetEnt’s first foray into the North American online gambling market after the company received a transactional waiver by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement earlier this month to offer its products under the Borgata and bwin.party brands.

With the said transactional waiver, the gaming provider is now able to supply a selection of its most popular titles to Borgata’s online casino while its application for a full gaming license is being reviewed by the New Jersey gambling regulator.

NetEnt CEO Per Eriksson said that they have long been focused on launching their products in the North American online market and their main purpose has been to go live in New Jersey in the second half of 2015. The executive noted that they are particularly happy about delivering on their promise. He also said that they are looking forward to acquainting themselves with the opportunities this market will provide them with.

NetEnt announced that its software has been successfully integrated into the Borgata online casino platform in New Jersey. Its gaming titles will go live with bwin.party once the integration is completed. The company said that this is to happen anytime soon.

As part of its agreement with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, NetEnt will first introduce a selection of its best and most popular gaming titles to New Jersey players. More multichannel games will gradually be launched over time.

Commenting on the latest announcement, NetEnt Americas Managing Director Björn Krantz said that he is delighted that their games are now live with the Borgata brand as this “marks a fantastic milestone achievement” for the supplier. The executive expressed confidence that their product offering will provide New Jersey players with excellent gaming experience.

Mr. Krantz also promised that they will continue working together with Borgata and the state gambling regulator in order to ensure the further growth of the online casino market.

NetEnt submitted its application for a Casino Service Industry Enterprise License to the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement earlier this year. Its agreements with the bwin.party and Borgata brands were signed in June. Later on, it penned a similar contract with Caesars Interactive Entertainment in a bid to introduce its products to a wider public across the state.

New Jersey is one of three states where online casino gambling is legalized, with the other two being Nevada and Delaware.
